---- The ZiffNet Monthly Shareware Review -----
             Volume 1, Issue 4 - November, 1993

The ZiffNet Monthly Shareware Review is dedicated to informing
the public about the latest news and highlights about the
downloadable software available on ZiffNet. This highly
graphical hypertext newsletter features in-depth reviews and
updated information on the newest and most popular shareware
programs available. It is distributed online in the form of a
Windows Help file, and can be read by anyone running Windows
3.1.

Windows Help files are run using the Microsoft Windows Help
Engine (WINHELP.EXE), which is included with Windows. You can
start the ZiffNet Monthly Shareware Review in one of the
following ways:

1) In most cases, the Windows File Manager automatically runs
WINHELP.EXE whenver you double-click on a file with the extension
.HLP. If this does not work, you need to "associate" .HLP files
with the program WINHELP.EXE. Please consult your manuals or
online help for instructions.

2) You can use the File | Open command from the menu bar when any
Help file is active and then select the ZiffNet Monthly Shareware
Review file. You can quickly bring up a Help file by pressing
[F1] while Program Manager is active.

--- SPECIAL NOTE ON THE FREE SCREEN SAVER ---

This month's issue of ZShare has been packaged with a free screen
saver, courtesy of Eric Robichaud and Rhode Island Soft Systems,
Inc. It is provided free of charge, but may not be distributed
except in its original packaged format, with this newsletter and
accompanying documentation. The screen saver is provided in
standard Windows .SCR format, and will work on any Windows 3.1
system. It is part of an upcoming volume in the highly successful
WinPAK series from RISS. The .SCR file should be copied to your
default Windows directory (usually C:\WINDOWS). Once it resides
in this directory, it can be activated through the Desktop applet
of your Windows Control Panel. Please consult your Windows
documentation for further details on screen saver usage. For more
information about the screen saver, or the WinPAK collection,
please contact the author:
