Purpose:  To resolve the following problem reports:

Problem Report Number:  T03595

EXPLANATION:
LANCACHE may corrupt  files if Windows is run in Standard Mode.  The 
WSWAP.EXE Windows standard mode swap file will write over memory
allocated by Lancache and cause file corruption. Symptoms are FAT is
corrupted and many files are cross linked.


Problem Report Number:  T00908

EXPLANATION:
A LANCACHE flush may pause activity long enough to cause problems with 
communication via modems.


Problem Report Number:  T01399

EXPLANATION:
LANCACHE loaded on a DEL 316/SX over a LANtastic Z PPORT.EXE driver may
cause the PC to lockup.


Problem Report Number:  T03736

EXPLANATION:
If  LANCACHE is loaded,  a CTRL-ALT-DEL will not reboot your machine
until another command is entered.


Problem Report Number:  T03651

EXPLANATION:
When LANCACHE is loaded on a Toshiba 1200 the error "Invalid Command.com" 
is returned when exiting Windows in standard mode.


Problem Report Number:  T03457

EXPLANATION:
This version of LANCACHE will display the LANCACHE loading parameters with 
the /STAT=INFO switch.


Problem Report Number:  T03692

EXPLANATION:
If LANCACHE is loaded with the NODELAYED_WRITES switch enabled,  
/STAT=INFO does not properly display the AFTER_IO_DELAY and 
LONG_WRITE_DELAY equal to 0.


Problem Report Number:  T03813

EXPLANATION:

LANCACHE will not correctly report the cache hit rate with /STAT=INFO after 
approximately 60 million requests.


RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

LANCACHE.EXE is a replacement file for your current file.  Simply copy the
file on this disk over your current files.  For example, If you currently 
have these files in your LANTASTI directory and this disk is in your
A:> drive type the following commands from the A:> prompt:

      COPY LANCACHE.* C:\LANTASTI

Your machine must be rebooted in order to load the new version of LANCACHE.
