The ArtiScribe(TM) NetMedia(TM) Document and Dictation System is a
easy-to-use DOS tool to combine voice, screen graphics and embedded
files in a multidimensional document. It uses Artisoft Sounding
Board(TM) adapters to create digital sound files from the included
telephone-style handset, or by direct audio output from amplifiers,
tape and CD-ROM sources. It synchronizes screen captures from any DOS
program, and allows supporting application files to be embedded in the
     main ArtiScribe file.

By combining sound, graphics and files, the ArtiScribe system can be
used as a show-and-tell dictation system, to create living memos, as a
means of keeping different records in a single file, and for a simple
multimedia presentation system. By centralizing most ArtiScribe files
on one server and allowing network users to route files across the
LAN, the ArtiScribe system is a simple and complete NetMedia tool.
