The flight model is based on flight reports and manufacturer's
specifications. Comments and suggestions for improvements and modifications
are welcome.

The Glasair III is a low wing, 2 seat homebuilt aircraft. It is a fast
cross country cruiser featuring all-composite construction, retractable
gear, 300 hp and a constant speed prop.

Note: the flight model parameters for pitch, roll and yaw moments of
inertia are different from the recommended values. If this flight model
is reprocessed with flight shop, these parameters must be manually reset
to 1000, 800 and 1600 respectively to maintain the present handling
characteristics.

The aircraft as supplied is loaded to full gross weight. For greater
performance, lower the empty weight a couple of hundred pounds and carry
less fuel.
