SOUTH OF LENINGRAD, January 12, 1943 -

Due to repeated Soviet attacks to relieve the siege of Leningrad,
the Germans developed a trip wire defence consisting of light local
forces backed by a quickly dispatched mobile "fire brigade". On
this occasion 1st Company, Tiger Battalion 102, with ace Cpt. Hans
Bolter was called upon to halt a major Soviet incursion by a full
battalion of the 122nd Tank Brigade.

Bolster the feeble infantry positions and halt the Soviets!
