ABOUT THE FOOD AND NUTRITION INFORMATION CENTER'S 
FOOD AND NUTRITION SOFTWARE AND MULTIMEDIA PROGRAMS DATABASE

The Food and Nutrition Information Center (FNIC) at the National 
Agricultural Library  maintains a database of information on 
over 200 software and multimedia programs.  Types of programs in 
the database include nutrient analysis, clinical nutrition, food 
service management, recipe management, food industry, 
drug-nutrient interactions, nutrition education, and menu 
planning.

The programs can be obtained from the companies listed.  
Inclusion of a program in this list does not indicate 
endorsement  by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), nor 
does the USDA ensure the accuracy of all information in the 
computer packages.
