  Subj: WELCOME!

Thanks for the welcome aboard. I am not really fond of curry or chutney of
Indian cooking. But a friend asked me if I liked curry and I told them no but
if they would be interested I would send them a recipe from my files. Here's
one if you like it.
                          CHICKEN CURRY

3 two pound chickens, cut up 4 medium - sized apples
l cup oil pared and chopped
l cup finely chopped celery i/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
l cup finely chopped onion 2 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons curry powder Freshly ground black pepper

Saute chickens in oil for ten minutes or until browned. Remove chickens and
keep hot. Add celery and onions to oil remaining in skillet and saute for five
minutes. Add all other ingredients. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add
chickens and 2 cups of coiling water, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
serves 6. Turkey, duck or capon can be substituted for chicken but may take
longer to cook. If leftover chicken is used, prepare the sauce separately and
add the chicken l5 minutes before serving. Voila, J'espere que vous avez bon
appetit.

If you can find me a good chicken breast recipe I would love a new one. I have
made
chicken Pariseanne, with walnuts, with cherries, plain fried, with mushroom
sauce. Give me a good new one. Thanks.

Weldon
