		    RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
*****************************************************************************

Self-extract NOSL95.EXE in a temporary directory. Be sure to follow this
NOSL95.TXT file carefully.

Restart the Windows 95 machine to DOS mode by selecting |Start|Shutdown|
|Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode?|Yes|, before updating the files.
Windows 95 places a file lock on files in the Windows 95 \SYSTEM directory.
As a result, the machine will not allow the file to be overwritten when
Windows 95 is active and may generate a 'Sharing violation' error.

After the Windows 95 machine has been restarted in DOS mode, run the
NEWL95.BAT batch file from the temporary directory where NOSL95.EXE was
extracted. This will update the required files of LANtastic for Windows 95.

To install the update manually, or if you have problems running the batch
file, save the .VPE, .MSG, and .DLL files listed on the PRODUCT: line (above)
from your Windows 95 \SYSTEM directory (normally C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM)
to a backup location, in case they are needed to return to a prior
configuration. Then copy the .VPE, .MSG, and .DLL files listed in the
PRODUCT: line (above) from the temporary directory to your Windows 95 \SYSTEM
directory, (normally C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM), and to your LANtastic for Windows 95
"INSTALL" directory, C:\LANTASTI\WIN95\INSTALL.

Save the LCAEXEC.EXE and SERVER.LCA files from your C:\LANTASTI\WIN95
directory to a backup location. Then copy the updated LCAEXEC.EXE and
SERVER.LCA files from the temporary directory to your C:\LANTASTI\WIN95
directory, and to your LANtastic for Windows 95 "INSTALL" directory,
C:\LANTASTI\WIN95\INSTALL.

Once you have copied the updated files to the appropriate destination
directories, either manually or by using the NEWL95.BAT batch file, you can
restart Windows 95 normally. Note that the NEWL95.BAT batch file will
place copies of your original files in a .\NOSL95.OLD directory below your
temporary directory.

Repeat this procedure for all LANtastic for Windows 95 machines on the
network.
