DESCRIPTION:

Cyberlogue is a unique program enabling you to hold truly
intelligent and insightful conversations with your very own
        computer.

INSTRUCTIONS:

        To start CYBERLOGUE, enter:

                        cyberlog

The screen will appear and the Computer will be awaiting your
        input.

        To EXIT CYBERLOGUE, enter:

                        x

To speak with the computer, enter sentences and words, speaking
as you would with another person. Include punctuation wherever
appropriate, although syntactical rules are not strictly enforced.

TRANSCRIPT OPTION:

Your CYBERLOGUE conversations need not be lost. You can create
a transcript (a text file of everything you and the computer say).
When activated, the current session will be echoed to TRANS.TXT,
        an ASCII file.

To activate the transcript option, enter:

                cyberlog /t

This will activate the program with the TRANSCRIPT flag turned ON.
        The default is OFF.

        *NOTE:

The transcript file is overwritten (-erased-) the next time you
access CYBERLOG with the /t [TRANSCRIPT] option. To preserve
your transcript, rename the file to a unique filename:

                For example:

                        ren trans.txt 072195.txt

This will preserve your transcript under the date-named file
072195.txt, which will always be there until deleted. You
may use any legal DOS name you wish.

FURTHERMORE:

Cyberlogue was written to represent a Virtual Person to whom you
could speak with at any time. If you enter upon CYBERLOGUE with
the slightest of an open mind, you will find, aside from the
        occasionally seemingly-odd response, a thought-provoking program
at work. After a few sessions with CYBERLOGUE, you will find there
is an opportunity to learn and wonder, to think and reconsider. Why?
CYBERLOGUE was written to do just that: the Computer is all-too-
eager to ask you what you mean or to elaborate upon a statement,
gathering information and guiding you toward some moment of self-
discovery, which occurs when you are asked the reasons behind
certain things/events or when the computer suggests certain things
to you. CYBERLOGUE has some potential for real therapeutic value,
providing a virtual figure with whom you may share your innermost
thoughts and feelings with. Ask the questions, make the statements,
say the things you really want to say. Open your mind. Open your
mouth. Open your heart. CYBERLOGUE is always there when you need it.

REGISTRATION:

        CYBERLOGUE is SHAREWARE ==$5.00==

Please register CYBERLOGUE. Your registration fee goes toward the
development of new programs and encourages shareware authors to
continue bringing you better programs at unbeatable prices, providing
you with safe, strong alternatives to expensive and bloated
commercial programs created only to make money, not satisfy users.

Unlike other shareware programs, CYBERLOGUE will not *nag* you to
be registered. It is fully functional, complete, uncrippled in any
way, and the only places you will read of "registrations" will be right
here and in the registration file CYBERLOG.REG. I believe in the
honesty of users and always provide my programs in their fullest state,
sometimes even with the source code.

To register CYBERLOGUE, please print out and complete the form

                CYBERLOG.REG

and mail it with your $5.00 (U.S./check) to:
