=========================================================================
Version 2.0

-New: An option to display long file names in the title bars of Win3
programs for files opened using LFNsNow!. The long file name is displayed
in addition to the DOS 8.3 file name. (Note: this will not work for all
programs. In addition, some programs will redisplay their title bars at
times, causing the long file names to disappear. In this case the long
file names can be re-displayed by clicking on an empty part of the task
bar and then clicking back on the Win3 program.

-New: When the mouse is moved over a long file name in a Windows 3.x
common Open or Save As dialog, the entire file name is displayed.

-New: Support for long file names during downloads from Compuserve. This
new feature will work with most programs that allow you to use the Save
As dialog to specify the name for each file to be downloaded.

-New: An option to completely hide the Win3 Open and Save As dialogs
when an LFNsNow!/Windows 95-style Open and Save As is displayed.

-New: The ability to create a directory from within a Windows 3.x Open
or Save As dialog by right-clicking on the directory list box.

- Enhancement: The user preferences and defaults have been moved from
the LFNsNow! main dialog to the General tab on the LFNsNow! Properties
dialog. (This was done in order to have more room to add new options,
to better explain some of the options and to make room for future options.)

- New: Also on the General tab is an option to change the number of files
and directories that are kept in the most recently used lists.

- New: Win 3.x standard open and save as dialogs now allow the
user to filter the file list by typing a wildcard in the file name
field. Also added the ability to switch to a different directory
by entering either a long or short directory name.

- New: An option to stop the display of some of the warning messages that
are issued after the Save button is pressed on an LFNsNow! dialog. The
messages explain settings changes that may be necessary in the Win 3 dialog
and other action the user should be aware of.

- Enhancement: The LFNsNow! open and save as dialogs can optionally default to
the last directory used in an open or save as dialog. (Previous
versions defaulted to the directory of the Win 3.x program's
open or save as dialog.)

- Enhancement: Simplified the LFNsNow! open and save as dialogs. Added separate
buttons for properties, file history list, and directory history list.
Removed option checkboxes since these can be set through the
properties dialog.

- Enhancement: Pressing Cancel now cancels both the LFNsNow! dialog and
the underlying Windows 3.x dialog.

- New: A Close button on the LFNsNow! open and save as dialogs.
Pressing Close will close the LFNsNow! dialog and display the
underlying Windows 3.x dialog.

- Fixed a bug where the DOS file name is not pasted into the Ami-Pro
Save As dialog. This bug may have also appeared with other programs.

- Fixed a bug that prevented the evaluation of the current version
of LFNsNow! if a prior version had been installed.

- Fixed a bug that caused the settings (options) for some programs
to be erroneously changed if the options were examined in the
Dialog Properties screen.

- Fixed a bug that caused any program settings made during a session to
be lost if LFNsNow! was running when Windows 95 was terminated.

- Fixed a bug where the long file name was not being retained for
some files saved with Microsoft PowerPoint 4.0. This bug may have
also appeared with other programs.

- Fixed a bug where for some programs LFNsNow! did not automatically
provide long file name support the first time the programs were
encountered.

- Changed program so that if the user manually activates an LFNsNow!
save as or open dialog while LFNsNow! is minimized on the taskbar,
then the LFNsNow! main dialog is not displayed.

- Added contact and ordering information to the About LFNsNow! dialog.

- Fixed a bug where if the "Paste filename" option in an LFNsNow!
dialog were unchecked and Open or Save was pressed an erroneous
error message indicated that the file name field in the Windows 3
dialog could not be found.

Version 1.2fa

-Fixed a bug where the "Press OK" option in the LFNsNow! dialogs
was pressing the wrong button. In WordPerfect, (and probably other
word processing programs)this results in help being displayed.

Version 1.2f.

- For Win 3.x programs that use the Windows standard common
dialog box for open/save as, LFNsNow! no longer displays an
additional dialog box. Instead, the same dialog box that you
would see under Win 3.x is displayed except long file names are
displayed in the file and directory list boxes. When a file name
is selected on open, the long name is displayed in the edit field
and may be opened simply by clicking OK. On save as, just enter
the long file name and click OK. You can also select a long name
from the file list and edit that name.

- If LFNsNow! is handling a Windows 3.x common dialog, a
right-mouse click on a file or directory name will bring up a
Windows 95 context menu that allows the normal file operations:
cut, copy, paste, view, delete, rename, properties, etc.

- The context menu will also contain an LFNsNow! properties item
that allows you to specify the LFNsNow! settings for the dialog.
This allows you to use a smaller font or to always display the
LFNsNow! Windows 95 dialog when the Win 3 dialog is displayed.

- The context menu also presents a list of files recently used by
the Windows 3.x program. If you click on a file name, that file
name will be selected.

- The context menu also presents a list of recently used
directories. If you click on a directory, you will switch
immediately to that directory.

- If LFNsNow! is handling a Windows 3.x dialog, the file list in
that dialog will immediately reflect changes made by other
Windows programs. For example, if you rename a file in Explorer,
the new name will immediately appear in your Win 3.x dialog.

- The Create checkbox on LFNsNow! Save As dialogs has been
removed. It is no longer needed.

- A new suspend option allows easily turning LFNsNow! off and on
without having to stop the program. This may be necessary if any
programs are incompatible with LFNsNow! (Note: this completely
stops LFNsNow! for ALL programs.)

- The activation mechanism has been modified to be more precise,
eliminating most situations where LFNsNow! displays a dialog at
inappropriate times. When an LFNsNow! dialog should not be
displayed, you can turn it off just in that case by clearing
the Automatic Display checkbox.

- You can now open multiple files with long file names in the
Windows 3.x common dialogs. (You cannot open multiple files
from the LFNsNow! Open and Save As dialogs in this version.)

- The LFNsNow! Windows 95 Open and Save As dialogs have been
improved to better select the correct file types when used with
Microsoft Word and Excel.

- The LFNsNow! dialogs also have these changes:
 - the Explore button has been replaced with an Options button.
 - to Explore, right-click on a directory shown in the contents pane.
 - clicking on Options will bring up a context menu that includes
selections for LFNsNow! properties, the list of recently used files,
and the list of recently used directories.

- Several bugs were fixed.
