TimeTree V1.1 for Windows95
5/20/1996

REQUIREMENTS:

TimeTree requires Windows95 or WindowsNT 3.51 or later.

INSTALLATION:

Run SETUP.EXE.

DEINSTALLATION:

Under Windows95 use Add/Remove programs applet in the
control panel. Under WindowsNT, run the uninstall program in the
TimeTree Folder.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

The time shown on the clock is not correct.

- Check the time zone set in the Date/Time applet of the Control Panel.
TimeTree relies on Window's time zone setting for all of its time
calculations. Optionally, you can adjust TimeTree's time by including
the /H=x parameter where x is a number between -24 and +24 (be sure to
include the sign). For example, /H=+1 on the command line will start
TimeTree with a one hour bias. This should only be necessary if
the computer is passing an invalid GMT time to the application.

Corrupt time zone file message is displayed.

- Reinstall TimeTree using setup.exe. This will replace the corrupted
file with the master on the installation disk. If the custom time zone
file is corrupted, simply delete the file (CUST_ZON.DAT).

Running under WindowsNT and TimeTree is not added to the start
menu during setup.

- TimeTree setup creates a common program group and program items
requiring administrator privileges. If the desktop items do not appear
after running setup, create the TimeTree program item manually using
the program manager.

Uninstall fails to complete.

- The unistall program can only remove files it created. If you added
any alarms or custom locations, additional files were created. Simply
delete the remaining files and remove the directory to complete the
uninstall process.
