       1. Introduction Ŀ

Rexxit is a special editor for Rexx programmers with additional
functions for easy, fast, and error-free Rexx programming.
        These are:

        - Six different methods to run your program from the editor,

        - word-sensitive help for Rexx statements,

        - the facility to insert Rexx statements via context menu,

        - full integration of VRexx and RxMathFn,

        - the facility to insert subprograms via context-menu,

          and many, many more!

       2. Installation Ŀ

Your version of Rexxit is bilingual. You can choose between
English and German. There are two zip files: English.ZIP and
Deutsch.ZIP. Simply unzip the file with your favorite language
and your Rexxit installation is complete.

       3. Upgrade From Version 1.0 To 1.1 Ŀ

If you are currently using Rexxit version 1.0 and you don't want
to loose all the settings you have done, you can transfer them
to v1.1. You have to transform the old ini files MENU.INI and
SONST.INI to the new ini files for version 1.1: CODE.INI
and REXXIT.INI. To do so just drop both old ini files
onto UPDATE.CMD. After that you have to replace the standard
v1.1 files by the just created ini files.

       4. First steps Ŀ

Rexxit has the same facilities as "normal" editors.
Most of them should be selfexplaining. Nevertheless context
sensitive help is available everywhere in the product.
         Just hit the F1 key.

       5. System Requirements Ŀ

Rexxit offers in its context menu rexx statements which are
new in Warp, so don't insert them if you want to use the
Rexx program under 2.x. Rexxit needs 350K free space on hard
disc without the Vrobj.dll (2.1b) and 1.2MB including the
Vrobj.dll. To run Rexxit, the Vrobj.dll must be placed in the
working directory or in a directory specified in your
         config.sys LIBPATH statement.

       6. Changes From Version 1.0 To 1.1 Ŀ

        New features:

         - Search and Replace
         - The facility to run the program via PMRexx
         - The facility to debug the program via RXD (an EWS tool)
         - Insertion of a file somewhere into the program
         - The facility to rename the current file
         - Nicer design

        Fixes of minor bugs

       7. Troubleshooting Ŀ

         - If no context sensitive help is available...

uninstall FixPak 17 or wait for FixPak 18.
