            Sydney is the oldest city and center of the  largest 
            metropolitan area in Australia.  It is the   capital 
            of  the  state  of New South Wales.  Sydney  lies on 
            the southeastern coast of Australia, and has  one of 
            the finest harbors in the world.  Port  Jackson  has 
            an area of about 21 square miles and a  shoreline of 
            about 150 miles.  The largest  ships  in  the  world 
            can  anchor  there.  Sydney is  an important trading 
            center and has its own manufacturing  industry.  The 
            products include textiles, chemicals, metal products 
            processed foods, pottery & glass, and  leather.  The 
            business district centers in the heart  of the city,
