                             EE BOND TRACKER

INSTALL PROCEDURE: After copying and unzipping this file you
         should have following files:
         1) BONDS.EXE - Program to track up to 1000 EE Saving Bonds.
WARNING: You must run the install program first!!!!!!
         2) INSTALL.EXE - Program makes all the files necessary for
Bonds.exe to run. You must run this first or Bonds.exe
            will error out.
         3) BONDS.DOC - Manual for the Bonds program
         4) BONDS.X1 - Contains a dummy data set of 128 EE bonds.
During install you can have the install program load
these bonds so you can test out the program.
         5) SN.X1 - Same as Bonds.X1

         Installing EE BONDS TRACKER:
EE BONDS TRACKER will run on Monochrome or Color monitor.
         It doesn't support a mouse.
The install program does three things:

         1) First, it checks for the amount of free memory.
I did little testing in this area, but it looks like 92k
of free memory is more then enough to run bonds properly.
Bonds tracker tracking 1000 bonds ran on a TOSHIBA 1000
that only had 512k total memory and it worked fine.

         2) Second, install checks for screen length. It will ask
            for input at this point.

         3) Third, gives you a chance to install a dummy data set of
128 savings bonds. This opton allows you run bonds
tracker immediately and see what it does.
NOTE: If you use this option, there are two ways to remove
the fake bonds after testing; Use the delete option in the
bonds program and remove the bonds one at a time.
Second, run the install program again and allow it to clear
out the bond tables. Do this by answering (N)o when install
asks you if you want to have test bonds loaded.

After running the install program you can remove the
following files to free up some disk space:
              INSTALL.EXE
BONDS.X1 (Might be missing if you used the
SN.X1 test dummy data set option)
