These sources are derived from xpcmouse version 1.2 by Juergen G. Weber
and Grant B. Gustafson (copyright 1994-1997). They are copyrighted 1997
by Grant B. Gustafson, and are maintained by him solely. The sources are
GNU Public License sources and therefore freely distributed.

The main justification for making Grant B. Gustafson the sole author is
to divide the maintenance work. The sources are not likely to be
maintained into the future, because one example is enough. Any
significant code changes will appear in the xpcmouse sources, (C)
1994-1997 by Juergen G. Weber and Grant B. Gustafson.

The sources are provided primarily as a convenience to those persons who
want just cursor positioning functions, but also to ASM authors who
want a simpler example of how to implement cursor positioning functions
 in a TSR program.

True, the GNU sources for xpcmouse.asm contain the same basic stuff.
It's just that you would have to wade through three levels of switched
code to decipher the mess. That's right, xpcarrow.asm is 1/2 the size
 of xpcmouse.asm.

For the limited few who want to roll their own cursor routines, these
sources are the best starting place.
