the European availability of Enterprise Wide, the client/server remote
access software product that delivers high-performance access to
enterprise computing resources for remote users.

Enterprise Wide is a remote access software product designed for deployment
of client/server applications, and delivers a cost-effective and scalable
solution for MIS organizations distributing client/server applications to
mobile PCs or remote locations. Enterprise Wide provides end users with
seamless, high-performance access to client/server technologies, including
applications running on leading relational database platforms and Lotus
Notes. Exclusive ProtocolAssist technology in Enterprise Wide maintains
the responsiveness of Windows and DOS applications running on remote or
mobile PC clients by optimizing the transport process between the remote
workstation and the LAN gateway.

Enterprise Wide 2.5 offers remote "log-in and log-out" in a single Windows
session as well as faster file transfer speed, support for multiple
concurrent network protocols, as well as reduced cost by providing shorter
"connect time" over remote communication links. Enterprise Wide consists
of software for both the remote client and the LAN gateway, as well as
intelligent communications adapter card(s) for the LAN gateway PC.

Enterprise Wide 2.5 allows users to access a LAN over standard asynchronous
phone lines or X.25 packet-switched networks and supports high-speed
industry standard modems for dialing. "Extending The Enterprise" --
TechSmith offers Remote NetLib, an Enterprise Wide add-on product,
specifically designed for Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server users. Remote
NetLib provides very high-performance links for a Microsoft or Sybase SQL
Server through an Enterprise Wide gateway.

Enterprise Wide 2.5 will be available in late March 1995. Pricing,
including unlimited workstation distribution and four concurrent
asynchronous connections, starts at U.S. $3,250. Remote NetLib is offered
at U.S. $2,600 per gateway.
