NEEDHAM, MA - Quinn-Curtis, Inc. announces the Real-Time Graphics Tools for
Windows, an advanced programmer's tool kit for creating real-time displays
in applications running under the Microsoft Windows family of operating
systems. Programmers can now create advanced real-time process control,
scientific instrumentation, and monitoring displays for Windows, Windows
NT and Windows 95. The base version of the Real-Time Graphics Tools for
Windows includes both 16-bit and 32-bit DLL's. The 16-bit DLL's can be
used with Windows 3.1 programs written in C/C++ and Visual Basic, while
the 32-bit DLL's are used with C/C++ programs running under Windows NT,
Win32s and Windows 95.

This programming tool kit includes a collection of dynamic graph types
which can be updated in real-time with smooth scrolling and an absolute
minimum of redrawing and flicker. This is exactly what professionals
expect in their process control equipment, scientific and medical
instrumentation, on-line stock market monitoring systems, and network
traffic control systems, just to name a few of the high end real-time
graphics applications this software is suitable for.

Dynamic graph types include: scrolling graphs, sweep graphs, logic graphs,
scrolling bar graphs, xy plots, annunciators, text, bar graphs, and
various styles of meters. In addition, you can add LED indicators,
buttons, scroll bars and check boxes to any graphics window. This software
tool kit also includes a complete set of functions useful for generating
charts of static data. A wide variety of static chart types are supported,
such as: line plots, scatter plots, area plots, bar graphs, floating bars,
group plots, error bars, high-low-close plots, and pie charts. Built-in
dialog boxes can be used to edit chart characteristics. Once the charts
are created, they can be sent to Windows supported devices at the
resolution of the device, creating presentation quality printouts, slides,
or transparencies. Other features include: DDE support, alarm checking and
reporting, historical data replay, time axis labels, and PID control. More
than 300 functions are supplied with over 500 pages of documentation and
45 example programs.

There are no royalties or runtime fees when these tools are used to create
Windows application programs. The complete source code of the software is
available as part of the advanced developers version.

Pricing: Base Versions: for C/C++ - $600; for Visual Basic $500.
          Advanced Developers Versions: for C/C++ - $1200;
                                        for Visual Basic $1100.

A demo disk and comprehensive data sheets are available.
