SAN FRANCISCO -- ScreenMagic, Inc. through a joint agreement with Ohio Art,
has announced the release of a new Windows version of the Etch A Sketch,
which will be available in stores in October. The company says a Macintosh
version is also scheduled.

"Etch A Sketch, with over 100 million sold, is one of the most popular toys
of all time. As we start to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Etch A
Sketch, we are excited to bring the product into the computer age," says
Lowell Wilson, vice president of product development for Ohio Art.

Etch A Sketch for Windows keeps the basic philosophy of the original Etch A
Sketch with its challenging and fun drawing styles, only adds computerized
special effects, animation, sounds, and a variety of interactive games.
