Trinzic Launches InfoBroker for the Lotus Notes User -- Software to Access
Enterprise-Wide Data Sources from Notes

Trinzic To Showcase InfoBroker at The Lotus Symposium Series Sponsored by
Lotus and Intel

Palo Alto, CA, March 1, 1995--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today
announced that the Company will showcase the new InfoBroker software at
the Lotus Symposium Series sponsored by Intel Corporation and Lotus
Development Corporation. Trinzic along with three additional Business
Partners will be a co-sponsor of this series of eight one day conferences
across North America focused on business solutions available for this
environment. The symposium features presentations by successful Lotus
Notes users and provides a showcase for Notes Business Partners to
demonstrate their solutions.

"The Lotus Symposium Series has proven itself a powerful information
exchange event for Notes users with attendance averaging one thousand per
seminar last season," said Frederick W. Rook, Ph.D., Trinzic's Vice
President and General Manager--Data Access and Connectivity Products.
"This is also an excellent marketing event for Trinzic to provide a forum
for users to learn about our forthcoming Notes-based InfoBroker software
product and our InfoPump data replication software."

"The Lotus Notes marketplace is expanding with new opportunities for our
Partners," said Jeff Papows, Vice President of Lotus' Communications
Business Group. "Trinzic is contributing to the growth of this market with
products such as InfoPump and the upcoming InfoBroker, by connecting Notes
users to corporate operational data sources. Their co-sponsorship of the
Lotus Symposium clearly demonstrates Trinzic's commitment to the Notes
market. "

A New Information Access Tool for Notes Users

InfoBroker--introduced at the recent Lotusphere exhibition under the code
name "NotesPump"--will empower Lotus Notes users with the ability to
retrieve information from enterprise databases such as ORACLE, Sybase SQL
Server, Microsoft SQL Server and other sources such as IBM AS/400 within
the Lotus Notes environment.

Using the unique capabilities of InfoBroker, users will be able to build
three types of information retrieval requests--query by example (QBE), ad
hoc requests for any SQL query, and data mapping from Notes to the
destination database--directly from Notes using the familiar Notes request
form. The user can also specify the format they want the data delivered
in--a Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet or an Excel spreadsheet, a Notes mail
message, a dBase file, etc. In turn, information is delivered back to the
user in selected formats, including Notes mail, main documents, response
documents and database update, where the dataset is inserted into the
indicated Notes database. As a result, users can take advantage of
background data collection and centralized database connections in Notes.

InfoBroker is based on the Trinzic InfoPump software, a leading data
replication product that is currently used by hundreds of companies to
provide heterogeneous data replication to Notes users.

"InfoBroker provides a robust solution for Notes users who want to access
other data sources without leaving the Notes environment," added Rook.
"Trinzic is already providing data access to more than 30,000 Notes users
with InfoPump. Now we're placing the power of this proven technology
directly into the hands of the end user."

In addition to performing immediate information requests, InfoBroker users
will be able to schedule requests to occur on a regular basis, such as
daily or weekly The ability to remotely initiate information requests is a
major benefit for users who are on the road and do not have direct access
to a database.

InfoBroker Pricing Will Parallel The Pricing Model Used For Lotus Notes

Users will be able to license InfoBroker servers and clients on an
as-needed basis, one at a time or in quantity. InfoBroker pricing will be
based on standard client/server pricing models similar to Lotus Notes.

InfoBroker will be available directly from Trinzic Corporation and its
extensive network of authorized resellers and distributors during the
second half of calendar year 1995. For more information contact Trinzic at
