Adobe PageMaker 6.0 Fuels High-Fidelity Color Demonstration at Seybold San
Francisco

San Francisco, Calif. (September 26, 1995) (Nasdaq:ADBE) -- Adobe Systems
Incorporated, Mills Davis of the Hi-Fi Color Project in Washington, D.C.,
Pantone, Inc., and a number of other leading professional graphic arts
product vendors today announced they will be demonstrating the highest
quality color output possible from the desktop, here at Seybold San
Francisco (New Technology Lab #4, South Exhibit Hall, Moscone Convention
Center).

Geared to graphic arts professionals with exacting color requirements, the
Hi-Fi Color Lab will feature new technology demonstrations and desktop
workflow processes for creating high-fidelity color documents. Adobe
PageMaker 6.0, the newly-released upgrade to the world's leading
professional page composition software, will be featured as the host
application for the hi-fi color process.

PageMaker 6.0 is the industry's first end-user application to support the
selection and separation of PANTONE Hexachrome colors. A fully-integrated
six-color process, Hexachrome technology expands the color gamut far
beyond the traditional four process colors of cyan, magenta, yellow and
black (CMYK), producing improved tonal reproduction, richer, deeper
colors, realistic flesh tones and sharper shadows and highlights.

"Hi-Fi color is on the bleeding edge of technology and PageMaker 6.0 makes
it available to the masses," said the Hi-Fi Color Project's Davis. "For
those who depend on high-impact printed pieces, the new PageMaker offers
tremendous advantages."

"By incorporating Hexachrome support into Adobe PageMaker 6.0, we offer our
customers the most advanced color printing capability available today.
Hexachrome expands the realm of color options far beyond what is possible
using four-color separations," said Mike Peronto, vice president of
Publishing Products at Adobe.

Other vendors participating in the lab include: Agfa, CSI, DuPont, Eastman
Kodak, GTI, Light Source, Linotype-Hell, Radius, VISU Technologies and
Xerox.
