AGE LOGIC ANNOUNCES ADVANCED POWER MACINTOSH TERMINAL EMULATION SOFTWARE

San Diego, CA, October 24, 1995 -- AGE Logic, Inc. announced today the
release PacerTerm, Version 3.1, its multi-window/multi-session VT420
terminal emulation software. Version 3.1 enhances PacerTerm's Macintosh to
the Corporate Internet capabilities with native support for PowerPC
processors, Open Transport compatibility including PPP, Apple
AOCE/PowerTak mail integration and AppleScript interoperability.

Added functionality is delivered by advanced user interfaces such as
PacerTerm's SoftKeys, user-definable buttons capable of automating tasks
by providing host interaction, performing terminal functions, or executing
script directives. SoftKeys, in combination with AppleScript
interoperability, allow PacerTerm users to present Mac-friendly front-ends
on legacy systems and applications.

In addition, PacerTerm 3.1 "goes native" with the application, the VT420
emulator tool and the scripting engine to take full advantage of the
performance optimizations offered by PowerPC CPUs. Further, keeping up
with Apple's latest System software and hardware advances, PacerTerm 3.1
delivers PPP and SLIP capabilities that are fully Open Transport and PCI
compatible.

Garth Conboy, Vice President Desktop Products, explains that the embedded
AppleScript support enables users to execute and run PacerScript commands
from any AppleScript. For the user, this level of added integration opens
the door for interlinking between applications. For example, Macintosh
engineers at AGE use AppleScript to launch PacerTerm and send a search
through the Internet to access a usenet newsgroup. Then, using
AppleScript, the news headlines are automatically broadcast through the
company's conferencing and collaboration software, allowing anyone on the
network to monitor current affairs right from their desktop.

PacerTerm 3.1 facilitates terminal access to corporate network environments
and the Internet by combining terminal emulation with extended connection
capabilities and file transfer options. With its full support for
concurrent session management, users can launch multiple active sessions
to one or multiple hosts or remote sites and display these sessions in
multiple, concurrently updating windows. Enhanced connectivity is provided
via TCP/IP, PPP/SLIP, LAT, modem and serial connections, and full file
transfer capabilities via FTP, Kermit, Xmodem and Zmodem. PacerTerm's
connection flexibility supports any number of concurrent sessions using
multiple connection methods (Telnet, LAT, et al), multiple terminal types
(vt100 through vt420), and multiple file transfer protocols (FTP, Kermit,
etc.)

Pricing and Availability

PacerTerm 3.1 will be available within 30 days and is offered at a
suggested retail of US$249 for a single-user license. For more
