New Product Announcement Create Excitement at Show

(New York, NY, Sept. 27) -- Major product announcements and strategic
alliances at UNIX EXPO 1995 affirmed the dynamic importance of the show,
indicating continued business interest in UNIX and Open Systems computing
technology. At UNIX EXPO, more than 400 exhibitors showed solutions for
the desktop, workgroup and the enterprise at the show, Sept. 19-21, at the
Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, to an audience of 34,000
corporate professionals, system integrators and trade resellers.

UNIX EXPO was selected by senior executives from three major exhibitors --
Novell, Hewlett-Packard, and the Santa Cruz Operation (SCO) -- to announce
a strategic alliance, on Sept. 20, in which SCO will acquire the UNIX
operating system from Novell, and all three companies will work together
to develop a series of merged UNIX products. Robert J. Frankenberg,
president, CEO and chairman of Novell, Inc.; Alok Mohan, president and CEO
of SCO; and Willem P. Roelandts, senior VP and general manager, Computer
Systems Organization of Hewlett-Packard, delivered the news.

Scores of other companies also launched new products providing desktop
solutions, including: AGE Logic, AIM Technology, Candle Corp., Computer
Associates, Digital Equipment Corp., Hitachi, Hummingbird Communications,
IBM, Information Builders, Insignia Solutions, Pyramid Technology, Silicon
Graphics, Sun Microsystems, Tandem and Unisys.

Recognizing that UNIX EXPO delivers influential buyers and decision-makers
from the financial and corporate marketplace in New York, more than 75
percent of exhibitors re-signed for next year's show. UNIX EXPO will take
place October 8-10, 1996 again at the Javits Center in New York.

Since database technology represents a significant application for UNIX
technology, Blenheim Group USA, Inc., announced at UNIX EXPO the formation
of a UNIX EXPO Pavilion at DB/EXPO in San Francisco. DB/EXPO will take
place April 16-18, 1996, at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco
(DB/EXPO in New York is scheduled for Dec. 5-7, 1995 at the Javits
Center).

Because of the show's strong Internet focus, UNIX EXPO was selected by The
Path to Peace Foundation and the NJ Institute of Technology (NJIT) for
announcing the Catholic Information Center on the Internet -- providing
interactive news of the early October visit of Pope John Paul II to the
New York / New Jersey area.

More than 40 exhibitors of products and services for the Internet exhibited
within the Internet Village at UNIX EXPO. Each presentation at the
Internet Hands-On Theater (part of the Internet Village), sponsored by
Digital Equipment Corporation, was packed with UNIX EXPO attendees, who
were guided through the World Wide Web.

The first of two major keynote presentations was delivered at UNIX EXPO by
Robert Palmer, chairman, president and CEO of Digital Equipment
Corporation, who described his vision of "UNIX: Creating the Future," in
his presentation on Sept. 19. Edward R McCracken, chairman and CEO of
Silicon Graphics Inc., delivered the second keynote on Sept. 20,
addressing, "Scalable Servers for Supernetworks," in his speech.

Jock Gill of Penfield-Gill Inc., a former technology guru at the White
House during the Clinton-Gore administration, explored new Internet
business realities in his plenary presentation on Sept. 21, in his
address, "Communications and Disintermediation: The Transformational Power
of the New Media."

For the first-time at UNIX EXPO, the show presented the Object-Oriented
Technology Symposium, on Monday, Sept. 18. Object technology enables
enterprise organizations to build custom applications for business.

UNIX EXPO is produced by Blenheim Group USA, Inc., of Fort Lee, NJ, part of
Blenheim Group PLC, the world's leading independent producer of trade
shows and conferences.
