NEW PRESENCE ON THE REAL-WORLD INFORMATION HIGHWAY: ACCLAIM'S RECREATIONAL
VEHICLE OUTFITTED TO DEMO CA-UNICENTER

Premier Partnership With CA Helps Venture Become "Mobile Reality"

ISLANDIA, N.Y., October 26, 1995--It's not your father's recreational
vehicle that will soon cross the Golden Gate Bridge or trek state highway
101--CA-Unicenter is riding shotgun in Acclaim Technology's traveling
virtual enterprise, dubbed "Mobile Reality."

Acclaim Technology, a leading Silicon Valley systems integrator, has become
a premier CA-Unicenter business partner for the San Francisco Bay Area and
is immediately taking advantage of its automatic enrollment into the CA
VARsity Club --a program designed to increase profit margins for VARs
specializing in selling and supporting CA software- - by using the
allotted marketing development funds to help finance the purchase and
renovation of Mobile Reality.

The recreational vehicle will be modified and installed with CA-Unicenter,
Sun Microsystems UNIX servers and workstations, desktop PCs, UNIX/PC/Mac
connectivity applications, office automation tools, and a local area
network. Expected to be completed by late November, the RV will then make
"housecalls" at customer sites and area industry trade shows to
demonstrate CA-Unicenter, CA's distributed systems management solution.

"We're aiming for Mobile Reality to be on the road at least three days a
week at different sites. The success of our project is critical -- we not
only need a partner committed to the channel, but also prominent
mission-critical, client/server technologies that our customers require,"
said Norm Shockley, president of Acclaim Technology.

"Being a premier CA-Unicenter business partner has helped Acclaim put
mission-critical solutions on the real world information highway," said
Gavin Thames, executive vice president and co-founder of Acclaim
Technology. "We're pleased that we can now bring CA-Unicenter and our
other application and service offerings straight to our client's
doorstep."

"Acclaim's aggressive expert technical team has the integration and
services needed to properly support CA-Unicenter on multiple platforms.
They are asserting themselves in pursuing the client/server computing
market with special projects such as this roving demonstration," said Mark
Marron, CA senior vice president of channel sales. "Acclaim has met the
stringent commitments required as a premier CA-Unicenter business partner
and they have found unique ways to leverage the unparalleled marketing and
support benefits inherent in the CA VARsity Club."

CA-Unicenter manages the operations of multi-platform distributed systems
and ensures the integrity, security and automation needed to run mission
critical applications. It is the only fully- integrated systems management
solution covering user administration, security, workload management,
event management, disk and tape management, report distribution, problem
tracking and resource accounting for UNIX, LAN, and mainframe
environments. Through a common graphical interface and relational
database, CA-Unicenter provides a common model for systems- management
across multi-platform environments.
