CompuServe, Seattle FilmWorks and Gold Disk Team Up to Offer Electronic
Multimedia Greeting Card Delivery

SEATTLE, Wash., Oct. 24, 1995--Just in time for the holiday season,
CompuServe's Internet Division today announced a special offer that lets
computer users participate in the time-honored seasonal tradition of
making and exchanging greeting cards. Now holiday cheer can be spread
using the Internet and cutting-edge technology. In a partnership with
Seattle FilmWorks, Inc. and Gold Disk, Inc., CompuServe will package its
award-winning, complete Internet software suite Internet In A Box with
FilmWorks' Easycam and Gold Disk's Studio M Lite to create and send
multimedia greeting cards.

Sharing The Holidays Through The Internet

After taking the 24 photographs, participants can send their Easycams, a
single-use camera, to Seattle FilmWorks for processing. Seattle FilmWorks
will digitize the images and make them available for downloading to the
customer via its new PhotoMail delivery service on its World Wide Web
site. Customers will also receive a free roll of film and their choice of
prints or slides in the mail within seven to 10 days.

"Bundling our new PhotoMail delivery service with CompuServe's Internet In
A Box will show how easy and economical it is to retrieve your developed
pictures via the Internet," said Gary Christophersen, president and CEO of
Seattle FilmWorks.Participants can then use these images to create
multimedia greeting cards with Studio M Lite, a condensed version of Gold
Disk's new personal creativity application Studio M. With Studio M Lite,
consumers can easily create personalized multimedia greetings and albums
complete with sound, pictures and animation. These self-running projects
can be sent to family and friends by email or on a floppy disk and played
back on any PC using the Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 operating systems. A
$10 rebate for the full version of Studio M will also be included.

The minimum system requirements to run Studio M Lite are: A 486 or higher
PC, Windows 3.1 or Windows 95, 8MB of RAM, 10MB of hard disk space, a 256
color display, a sound card and a CD-ROM drive.

"Studio M is the perfect complement to Internet In A Box," said Allan

graphics, sound and text, offering consumers the world's first multimedia
mail service."

Instant Internet Access

Internet In A Box offers fully supported and enhanced commercial software
versions of Mosaic, Electronic Mail, File Transfer, News, Gopher, Telnet
and CompuServe WinCIM. In addition, the software comes bundled with an
updated version of the best-selling Internet book, The Whole Internet
Users' Guide and Catalog. These features are designed for everyone from
beginners to advanced users.

With Internet In A Box, connection to the Internet can be established in
just five minutes. CompuServe Mosaic Direct disks, complete with SPRY
Mail, will be included free inside Internet In A Box. Mosaic Direct can be
sent to relatives or friends who do not have an email account or Mosaic
browser and upon installing Mosaic Direct, they can quickly establish an
Internet connection.

Internet In A Box requires a 386 or higher PC, 3.5" disk drive, 4MB of RAM,
MS-DOS 3.0 or higher, Windows 3.1 or Windows 95 and a 9600 BPS or faster
modem.

Pricing and Availability

Internet In A Box retails for the recently reduced price of $69.99. The
"Share The Holidays Through The Internet" package ships on Oct. 31 and
will be on the shelves mid-November through the end of the year at
computer software stores, bookstores and through local Internet service
providers.

Film processing from Seattle FilmWorks starts at $11.35 for PhotoMail
online delivery and slides. Prices for prints vary by size.
