New Modem Offering Gives Users Instant Internet and Online Access

SINGAPORE -- OCTOBER 2, 1995 -- Creative Technology Ltd. (Nasdaq:CREAF)
today announced Modem Blaster 28.8 External, a V.34, 28.8K bps external
modem solution that offers instant access to the Internet as well as
online forums and games at the highest modem speed available. It provides
easy installation and configuration and allows users to save an internal
slot space in their PC. Modem Blaster 28.8 External will ship next month
at retail outlets for a projected street price of $189.99.

Modem Blaster 28.8 External features a single CD with NetManage's Chameleon
Internet Starter Kit, PSINet's InterRamp service, MindQ's Internet
tutorial -- The Internet: A Knowledge Odyssey, and four online services
including CompuserveR, America OnlineR, PRODIGYR and ImagiNation NetworkR.
In addition, the product provides a single CD with two online games from
Interplay Productions, Inc., including Virtual Pool Straight/8 and Descent
Destination Saturn.

Modem Blaster 28.8 External is also bundled with Pacific Image
Communications, Inc.'s SuperFax 6.0 fax and data software, featuring
SuperTerminal for high speed data transfer, fax broadcasting, pager
notification of new faxes, a phonebook, fax viewer and TWAIN support.

Modem Blaster 28.8 External rounds out Creative's line of communications
offerings, including the Modem Blaster, Phone Blaster and ShareVision
product lines. From its high speed 28.8, V.34 modem offerings to its
desktop conferencing products, Creative offers a variety of communications
