Modem Blaster 28.8 PCMCIA Expands Creative's Communications Product Line

SINGAPORE -- SEPTEMBER 13, 1995 -- Creative Technology Ltd. (Nasdaq:CREAF)
today announced Modem Blaster 28.8 PCMCIA, a new high speed 28.8K bits per
second, V.34 fax modem that gives users powerful modem connection
capabilities -- from any location -- at a competitive price. Modem Blaster
28.8 PCMCIA also provides users with instant access to the Internet,
e-mail and online forums as well as easy- to-use data and fax software.
The product will be available at retail outlets this month for a projected
street price of $249.99.

Features of Modem Blaster 28.8 PCMCIA

Using its patented SafeJack connector, Modem Blaster 28.8 PCMCIA provides
users with easy hook-up to both a phone line and a headset. The product
also includes a PCMCIA card holder to protect the card when it's not in
use. Modem Blaster 28.8 PCMCIA supports V.34 data rate compatibility,
V.17/V.29/V.29ter fax rate compatibility, data throughput up to 115,200
bps, Hayes and Microm extended standard and extended AT command set, class
1 and 2 fax commands and group three fax machines.

In addition, Modem Blaster 28.8 PCMCIA features the following bundled
software.

 NetManage's Chameleon Internet Tools with PSINet's InterRamp
 Internet service

 Pacific Image Communications' SuperFax software, including
 fax broadcasting, pager notification of new faxes, a phonebook,
 fax viewer and TWAIN support
