TENTH ANNUAL NETWORKS EXPO IN DALLAS AFFIRMS ITS STRATEGIC POSITION AS THE
LEADING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY EVENT IN THE SOUTHWEST

(Fort Lee, NJ, October 13, 1995) -- Networks Expo affirmed Dallas as a
proven marketplace for the latest products in networking, communication,
and interoperability. The trade show and conference held September 12-14,
1995 at the Dallas Convention Center featured more than 250 exhibitors and
drew strong attendance of 31,638 corporate computer professionals and
trade resellers. For the second year, the show ran concurrently with
WINDOWS WORLD Dallas, produced by Softbank Comdex.

"We had an incredible three days of business at Networks Expo Dallas --
meeting with key network buyers and professionals." said Bill Georgi, show
manager of IBM's networking division. "Attendees were extremely interested
in IBM's full range of products for multiprotocol, multivendor
environments being managed by Systemview and Netview products and security
applications. Our ATM technology and remote LAN access products were also
popular. In addition, IBM sponsored the HandsOn Internet Theater featuring
our wireless Think Pads, and classes were always packed."

Survey results released by Market Perspectives. Inc., of Framingham, MA,
validated the quality of Networks Expo Dallas attendees. According to its
report, 59% of this year's attendees were corporate volume buyers
primarily from the Government, Financial, Manufacturing and Education
sectors -- with 50% averaging six or more years of
networking/communications experience. In addition, 74% of the audience
annually spends up to $1-million on networking and tele/data
communications equipment and services; 93% have a positive buying
influence on the purchase of networking hardware, software and services.

Exhibitors confirmed that Networks Expo delivers an exclusive audience.
"Networks Expo Dallas was a great success for Palindrome. The quality of
attendees made this one of our most successful shows to date. We've come
to expect great things from show management, Blenheim Group USA, and they
continue to live up to and surpass our expectations!" said Jan McIntrye,
manager, corporate events, at Palindrome, a Seagate software company.
Palindrome exhibited LAN data protection and storage management software
at the show.

"As the only major information technology event in the Southwest, Networks
Expo has grown in importance as an influential event for networking
professionals. The show offers practical information and hands-on training
that attendees can use right now on the job," said Jay Gorga, show
director for Networks Expo Dallas.

All three keynote presentations drew standing room-only crowds. William
"BJ" Johnson, general manager of the networking hardware division of IBM
Corporation, spoke on the "The Incredible Shrinking World: Bringing People
and Information Together with Technology." More than 1,700 attendees heard
him say that networking is being recognized for its power to revolutionize
the way we work and live. The networking revolution is bringing all kinds
of people together with incredible information -- with the ease and speed
of a phone call, according to Mr. Johnson.

Howard Bubb, president and CEO of Dialogic Corp., addressed "Client/Server
Computer Telephony." in his presentation and Craig Mundie, senior vice
president, consumer systems division of Microsoft, delivered the WINDOWS
WORLD keynote on "Narrow-Band and Beyond: The Impact on Your Business."

Networks Expo Dallas also featured a robust corporate education and
training program that ran concurrently with the exhibition and featured
tutorials, half-day workshops and more than 60 conference seminars.

"The enterprise network has become a reality, and Networks Expo Dallas is
the best way for users to go one step beyond marketing and buzzwords and
receive a valuable opportunity to evaluate and learn about new
technology," said Dan Kohner, network planning coordinator at the M.D.
Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas in Houston. the world's
