AUTODESK UNIVERSITY WILL SHOWCASE HOT NEW PRODUCTS FOR USE WITH WORLD'S
MOST POPULAR DESIGN TOOLS

Press Conferences, Announcements of New Products and Services Complementing
Autodesk Software Add Excitement To Top Industry Conference

San Francisco -- October 25, 1995 -- With a full slate of scheduled press
conferences and dozens of new products being shown for the first time, the
third annual Autodesk University Conference and Exhibition has emerged as
the top industry event for users of Autodesk software -- including
architects, engineers in multiple disciplines, and multimedia developers.
In all, 140 companies that provide software, hardware, and peripherals
that complement Autodesk products are participating in next week's
exhibition, which runs from October 29 to November 1 at the Moscone Center
in San Francisco.

Dozens of Autodesk third-party software developers and computer providers
will introduce and show state-of-the-art products and technologies that
operate in conjunction with Autodesk software. Highlights include a
virtual reality system for developing fully immersive "walk-throughs," a
high performance 3D digitizing arm, and a graphics enhancement utility
that converts conventional plot files into drawings that appear to be
hand-sketched.

New tools from third-party developers that enhance basic Autodesk
applications include a catalog manager and DWG file viewer, a 3D design
analysis package, and a 3D solids editor for AutoCAD Release 13 software.
Hardware vendors will unveil new graphics accelerators and peripherals,
such as printers and monitors, designed for the demanding requirements of
Autodesk users.

Seven press conferences are already scheduled to take place at Autodesk
University. Members of the press are asked to call, or contact exhibitors
in their booths, for more information
about these events.
