MULTIMEDIA FINDS A HOME: GOLD DISK SHIPS STUDIO M

-PERSONAL GREETINGS AND HOME/SCHOOL PROJECTS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME-

SANTA CLARA, CA., September 26, 1995-- Gold Disk Inc. today announced the
availability of Studio M, a new product designed to empower consumers to
easily create personalized animated greeting cards, multimedia photo
albums, interactive party announcements, and a myriad of other personal
projects.

Consumers can now use their computer to create and send fun, personalized
self-running multimedia greetings to family and friends by e-mail or on a
floppy disk. They can create a multimedia photo album, complete with
sound, pictures and animated messages to show to the family. Better yet,
they can watch as their 12-year-old uses some whiz-bang graphics and some
cool animation to explain the intricacies of the rings around Saturn at
the next science fair. The possibilities opened up by Studio M are limited
only by the imagination.

"Until now creating multimedia quickly and easily has been out of reach of
the consumer. Studio M changes that by bringing multimedia into the home,"
said Allan Thygesen, vice president and general manager for consumer
products at Gold Disk. "We designed Studio M to be easy, fun and
affordable for consumers who are looking for exciting, new creative uses
for their home computer. Think of Studio M as a multimedia printshop for
the interactive age."

How Studio M Works

Studio M comes with more than 50 professionally designed templates,
complete with animation, sound and special effects. These templates
include greeting cards, photo albums, gift certificates, invitations and
announcements. Consumers can personalize each template with their own
photos, graphics, voice, music or text. They can also create a project
from scratch by combining their own material with items from a library of
over 1,800 pieces of animated clip art, background images, sounds and
music clips that come bundled with Studio M.

Studio M includes a Solutions Guide that explains how to scan photos,
insert images from a Photo CD or Photo floppy disk, capture video, e-mail
a project to others, print in color at home or at a copy shop, and other
creative ways to use Studio M. Each template also provides step-by-step
help for adding personalized media, transitions, special effects or
messages to a project.

After creating a special greeting or project, there are several methods for
distribution. Self-running Studio M projects can be distributed via e-mail
or floppy disk, printed in either color or black-and-white, or played back
on the consumer's own computer.
