INFORONICS ADDS GORDON AND BREACH CATALOG TO TITLENET

Littleton, MA -- October 11, 1995 -- Gordon and Breach adds its complete
catalog of title information to TitleNet, the Internet site for browsing
and searching publishers' catalogs and for ordering online. Gordon and
Breach catalog information includes descriptive text, reviews, tables of
contents, and audience focus for thousands of titles covering 10 imprints.

One of the world's leading academic and trade book publishers, Gordon and
Breach has more than 4,000 titles in print, with some 275 new titles
published each year. A multilingual publishing program includes books and
journals in French, German, Japanese and Russian.

In addition, Gordon and Breach publishes nearly 300 journals, encompassing
the fields of science and technology, biomedicine, and the social and
behavioral sciences, as well as the visual and performing arts and
humanities.

The Gordon and Breach Internet catalog includes books, textbooks,
monographs, audio and video tapes, and online services designed to serve
highly specialized academic and scientific disciplines, as well as the
sciences and arts.

"We were very interested in using the Internet to promote our complete
publishing program," says Linda Krieg, a spokesperson. "TitleNet provides
us with a high-access site and presents our books in a structured format
with fast, flexible searching. We plan to add a lot more interactive
information via our TitleNet Home Page."

Gordon and Breach's catalog can be reached on the Internet via gopher at:
gopher.titlenet.com or via the World-Wide Web at: http://www.titlenet.com

Providing Internet users with well-organized and timely access to a catalog
of book information was the primary project requirement. TitleNet provides
full searching of title information by author, title, and keyword, with
browsing by subject.

File conversion was minimal in building Gordon and Breach's TitleNet
catalog, since the Publisher's data is maintained in TitleBank,
Inforonics' bibliographic database system.

The Gordon and Breach TitleNet catalog is supported by Inforonics' multiple
Internet connections for high server reliability. Inforonics also provides
network administration and full systems maintenance.

TitleNet is a commercial area on the Internet created and maintained by
Inforonics for publishers to present product information and to promote
sales. TitleNet currently delivers over 100,000 accesses and more than
6,000 order forms a week to Internet users. Launched in 1993, TitleNet
offers comprehensive information on books, journals, software packages,
audio tapes, microform, and electronic media.

Founded in 1962, Inforonics, Inc. is a database, electronic publishing, and
Internet delivery services company. We serve the special needs of the
information industry, including publishers, associations, distributors,
libraries, and corporate information centers.
