IBM PC Servers Supports Novell NetWare 4.1 SMP

ATLANTA, Ga., September 26, 1995 . . . The IBM PC Server business unit,
chartered to lead the PC Server market with a complete family of servers
and server solutions, today demonstrated support for Novell NetWare 4.1
SMP on its PC Servers delivering symmetric multiprocessing (SMP)
capabilities.

The IBM PC Server business, targeted at the independent LAN, entry
enterprise and superserver marketplaces, offers customers a complete line
of PC Servers that delivers the right solution for any networking
environment -- from small LANs to high-end, fault tolerant networks.

Rounding out IBM's PC Server products are NetFinity, IBM's PC systems and
asset management software, and ServerGuide, an easy-to-use CD-ROM tool
that simplifies installation of network operating systems. IBM plans to
include Novell NetWare 4.1 SMP in the next release of ServerGuide. IBM PC
Servers belong to IBM's family of four server platforms: PC Server,
AS/400, RISC System/6000 and System/390.
