The Internet Shopping Network Goes Live with the First Online Camera and
Video Store

ISN Photo*Video Offers Brand-Name Equipment at Competitive Prices

PALO ALTO, CA-- The Internet Shopping Network (ISN), the leading retailer
on the Internet, announced that it has opened its own online camera and
video store called ISN Photo*Video. ISN's online camera store is the first
of its kind on the Internet, and will provide ISN members with easy access
to equipment manufactured by the world's premier photo and video vendors,
and at extremely competitive prices. The store will also provide
comprehensive information on each of the products offered -- including
pages of features, specifications and accessories -- enabling customers to
make informed purchase decisions.

Initially, the ISN Photo*Video store is offering a rull range of Minolta
camera and video products, including this month's "hot deal," the Minolta
Freedom Family Zoom compact camera, which retails through ISN's store at
$99.95. ISN will be offering products from other well-known manufacturers,
including Canon, Olympus and Pentax within the next six weeks, with
additional manufacturers coming on board on time for the Christmas
shopping season.

"The beauty of our business is that we can get to know the customer better
than any traditional store or retail outlet can," said Bill Rollinson,
ISN's vice president of marketing. "Without invading our customers'
privacy, we've been able to closely track, in real-time, what our members
and customers want and what they buy. We are, therefore, better able to
anticipate their needs. And our members have indicated that they would buy
brand-name camera and video equipment over the Internet if it was
available -- so here it is, some of the world's best equipment, and at
very competitive prices."

"Once we determined that the online consumer market was indeed a viable
one, it just made sense to make sure our products were available through
the largest and most-visited shopping mall on the Internet -- the Internet
Shopping Network," said Edward Daley. "We are committed to work closely
with ISN to ensure the success of its Photo*Video store by making the full
range of our products available, and with the same guarantees customers
would get in any typical camera store."

ISN's new Photo*Video store is owned and operated by ISN, and the company
plans to fill the store with products from most of the major camera and
video equipment vendors. One of the key advantages to buying photo and
video equipment through ISN's store is that all of the products are
shipped directly from the manufacturer to the customer. This means that
customers are receiving what ISN refers to as "factory fresh" equipment,
or equipment that hasn't been sitting on a warehouse shelf for months at a
time.

"Through our computer store, we've been able to offer online shoppers
products from the world's leading computer and software manufacturers, and
the streamlined fulfillment and inventory mechanism we have in place as a
virtual shopping mall ensures they get immediate delivery, and good
prices," added Rollinson. "The same will be true for our camera and video
store -- world class products, available immediately and at affordable
prices."

The ISN Photo*Video store is accessible immediately. Shoppers can access
the store by visiting ISN's Web site at http://www.internet.net.

The Internet Shopping Network, a division of the billion-dollar television
retailer Home Shopping Network, Inc., is the first large-scale enterprise
to embrace the Internet as a new medium for conducting commerce worldwide.
Launched in June 1993, ISN today offers more than 25,000 computer products
from companies such as Lotus, Symantec and Microsoft; flowers from FTD;
steak and lobster from Omaha Steaks International; gift items from
Hammacher-Schlemmer; and other merchandise.

Shoppers gain access to ISN through the World Wide Web (WWW). ISN's URL
address is http://www.internet.net. The e-mail address is
info@internet.net. ISN can be reached by phone at 1-800-677-SHOP, or by
calling (415) 842-7400.
