NEWS CORP./MCI ONLINE VENTURES LAUNCHES MULTIMEDIA TRIBUTE TO THE WORLD
SERIES

Site Features Exclusive Audio, Film and Video From The Baseball Hall Of
Fame's World Series Exhibit And Archives

New York, New York -- October 18, 1995 -- To commemorate the start of the
1995 World Series, News Corp./MCI Online Ventures, in conjunction with the
National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc., has launched a new World
Wide Web site, "The Fall Classic," providing Web surfers with a nostalgic
multimedia look at the history of America's favorite pastime. The site can
be accessed at http://www.delphi.com or through a link at
http://www.internetMCI.com beginning today.

"The Fall Classic" Web site features an extensive and exclusive multimedia
gallery consisting of text, photos, audio, film and video from the
National Baseball Hall of Fame's new World Series exhibit. News Corp./MCI
Online Ventures digital sports team captured historic images and sounds of
past World Series from the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY -- some of
which have been archived at the Hall of Fame and are not presently
available for public viewing. News Corp./MCI Online Ventures is offering
these images to the Internet community throughout the run of the 1995
World Series.

Included in the multimedia gallery is footage of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Don
Larsen, Goose Goslin, Joe DiMaggio, Willie Mays and Reggie Jackson.
Additionally, noted baseball historian Roger Kahn, author of Boys of
Summer, Good Enough to Dream and 16 other books, has written a personal
column on the World Series.

"'The Fall Classic' Web site truly brings the Baseball Hall of Fame's World
Series exhibit to life," said Anthea Disney, editor-in-chief of News
Corp./MCI Online Ventures. "Through our joint effort with the Baseball
Hall of Fame, Web surfers can now experience the most extensive multimedia
tribute to America's favorite pastime ever seen. We are equally honored
that Roger Kahn, one of the most accomplished baseball journalists in the
world, has written an original essay exclusively for this site paying
homage to the World Series."

Highlights from "The Fall Classic" include:

o Vintage World Series film and video dating back to the first modern
day World Series in 1903 and audio from as far back as 1935

o Film clips of famous World Series home runs by Babe Ruth, Lou
