SERVICES AND SUPPORT SOLUTIONS

MEMOREX TELEX TO SUPPORT NOVELL'S FIRST-LEVEL NETWARE 2.X AND 3.X SUPPORT
CALLS

IRVING, Texas, September 26, 1995 -- Memorex Telex today announced it has
been chosen to support NetWare 2.x and 3.x technical phone support calls
for Novell, Inc., building on the highly successful NetWare for SAA&#153;
support call program already in place. Additionally, Memorex Telex has
developed seven Network Care Services designed to increase the performance
of NetWare LANs in order to assist customers who are upgrading their
Novell NetWare 4.x network.

This is the latest development in an eight-year strategic partnership
between Memorex Telex and Novell which further emphasizes Memorex Telex's
commitment to delivering advanced networking support and services to users
in NetWare environments.

NetWare 2.x and 3.x customers is a result of our successful track record
in working together," said Brad Sowers, vice president of worldwide
marketing at Memorex Telex. "Today's announcement is a testament to
Novell's confidence in Memorex Telex's service and support capabilities,
and to the value-added technical support we provide to Novell's
customers."

EXPANDED SUPPORT

Novell selected Memorex Telex to provide first-level technical assistance
to its NetWare 2.x and 3.x customers in May. In the expanded support call
partnership, Novell forwards most of its incoming NetWare 2.x and 3.x
support calls to Memorex Telex's Call Center, located in Tulsa, Okla.,
through a high-speed, 128 KB communications link that provides Memorex
Telex with instant access to Novell's call management system 24 hours a
day. Memorex Telex answers an average of 1,800 inquiries per month for
NetWare 2.x and 3.x and is able to resolve more than 95 percent of these
calls in less than two hours of actual telephone time. Memorex Telex
escalates fewer than two percent of total first-level calls back to Novell
and maintains a two hour call back policy.

forwarding of NetWare 2.x and 3.x calls to Memorex Telex," said Tom Best,

Telex's Technology Solution Center staff has helped our customers realize
new possibilities for their enterprise networks. In addition, we are
exploring other areas where our partnership can meet our customers'
networking needs."

NETWORK CARE SERVICES

Network Care Services for Novell NetWare, the second component of the
enhanced service alliance, helps customers maximize the potential of their
NetWare environments by smoothing network implementation and increasing
LAN uptime. Delivered through the Technology Solution Center and by
Memorex Telex's more than 300 Certified Novell Engineers and Enterprise
Certified Novell Engineers, these services span the network's life cycle
including planning and design for NetWare 4.x, installation, configuration
and upgrades for NetWare and NetWare for SAA, remote support desk
services, and training through Memorex Telex's Novell Authorized Education
Centers. Remote Novell network monitoring is also available to ensure
maximum network uptime through our Network Control Center.

well as their good reputation for being able to implement extensive Novell
