16-Bit Twinax Card Now Included in MI 5250 Local for Windows

FROSTBURG, MD-October 20, 1995-Micro-Integration Corp. (MI) (NASDAQ: MINT)
recently began shipping its new 16-bit twinax adapter as the standard
hardware in its 5250 Local for Windows emulation packages. Not only does
this product let Windows users connect to a 3X/400 host. The 16-bit card
also improves performance levels and eliminates the conflict sometimes
caused by installing an 8-bit twinax card in a PC with a 16-bit video
card.

"The addition of MI's 16-bit card to the 5250 Local for Windows kit will
let users take full advantage of their high-speed peripheral cards and
devices," stated Mark Proudfoot, VP of Marketing at MI. "Add the fact that
this product already ships with the industry's first VxD driver for
running Client Access for Windows 3.1 (CAWIN), and you'll see that 5250
Local for Windows is a 'bullet-proof' solution, offering unsurpassed
versatility and performance for twinax users."

The MI 5250 Local for Windows, complete with the 16-Bit Twinax Card and the
VxD for Client Access, retails for $745.

Micro-Integration Corp. provides high-quality products, tools, and services
that support customers in downsizing applications from host-based systems
to client-server and PC-based systems.
