"Info Select Version 3" Now Available for Windows 3.X and Windows '95

New Version of Award Winning Personal Information Manager is Largest
Upgrade Ever

October 11, 1995 -- Hackensack, NJ -- Software publisher Micro Logic Corp.
announced today shipment of its Version 3 Upgrade to the popular Personal
Information Manager "Info Select". After more than two years of
development, Version 3 has completed a six month beta test program under
both Windows 3. I and Windows 95. Info Select Version 3, according to the
publisher, is by far the program's largest feature upgrade ever.

The new version is based on a new approach to information management that
combines both free-form and structured data management in a way that
readily adapts to user needs. Information can be organized in free-form
notes, tree-structured outlines, field-based forms, lists, and calendars.

Of fundamental significance, according to Neil Lubin, Sales Manager for
Micro Logic, the Personal Information Manager's abilities have been
increased from managing a single data-type, free-form Notes, to five
flexible data-types thereby opening up a wide range of new applications.
The five data-types are Notes, Outlines, Forms, Databases, and Calendars.
In addition, a new "Selector" enables users to manage diverse topics or
"Infobases", each capable of containing thousands of data items. A new
"Folders" feature enables users to assign any data item to one or more
folders and then view all the items in any folder instantly.

Version 3 provides many enhancements over earlier versions of Info Select
including: font management, spell checking, "Pin-up Windows" that remain
stationary, database file importing, drag-and-drop, searching across
multiple Infobases, a more powerful dialer, item deletion undo, built in
Network support for sharing data with co-workers, and a new Calendar and
Scheduler facility that lets users schedule meetings, appointments, and
recurring events. The Scheduler enables users to enter ticklers, set
warning alarms, hyperjump from a reminder to a note, and create as many
Calendars as desired - both stand-alone and Network shared.

According to James Lewis, President of Micro Logic: "We designed Version 3
to provide a unified environment that manages the critical information
that users work with on a daily basis. Info Select continues to break new
ground in Personal Information Management, as we've done since we created
the category in 1987 with our award winning products Tornado and Info
Select Versions I and 2." Micro Logic's popular Personal Information
Managers are the winners of 2 PC Magazine Editor's Choice Awards, Windows
Magazine's Win 100 Award, a Perfect Report Card from PC World, and 5 other
major acclaims. Enthusiastic users include administrators, lawyers,
doctors, writers, editors, sales personnel, secretaries, buyers, managers,
CEOs, and anyone who has lots of assorted information flying across their
desk.

Info Select Version 3 operates on any Windows 3. I or Windows 95 compatible
PC. An on-line tutorial gets users started fast. The Info Select Version 3
Upgrade is available to current users for $69.95 and new users at $149.95.
