library of the British Geological Survey (BGS) to GeoArchive under an
exclusive agreement. Holdings of the BGS Library include:

Geosaurus -- the GeoArchive

thesaurus NISC provides very powerful automated searching using Geosaurus,
a structured, hierarchical thesaurus of over 24,000 index terms. The
thesaurus can be displayed in various ways and easily navigated. The
explode command lets you search narrower terms and even include related
terms. Using a thesaurus to construct precise, powerful keyword searches
has never been simpler.
