New NISC DISC offers expanded sociofile

sociofile (1974-present), from Sociological Abstracts, Inc. of San Diego,
California, provides over 350,000 citations and abstracts from the
sociological abstracts and Social Planning/Policy & Development Abstracts
(SOPODA) databases. The Thesaurus of Sociological Indexing Terms permits
powerful, automated searching. The enhanced sociofile includes
approximately 150,000 records that have never before appeared on CD-ROM
and provides wider coverage: over 2,000 serials as well as conference
papers, dissertations, books, monographs, book reviews, and more. About
20,000 records are added each year.
