BACKGROUND BBS CAPABILITIES, RHINOCOM v1.5 !

Enhanced Host Mode with Digiboard support, AutoScripting, CompuServe B+,
and Global Settings

October 1, 1995--Columbia, MD--Rhintek Incorporated releases RhinoCom
Version 1.5 to the OS/2 modem communications market. RhinoCom's Workplace
Shell interface replaces the venerable dialing directory with an
intuitively object-oriented phone book, or Rhinodex. Extensive
configurability with logical defaults, full-featured macros, fast
transfers, and REXX scripting insure that RhinoCom excels at modem
communications.

Features added with the release of 1.5 are:

o automated script learning with AutoScripting,
o graphical manipulations of global settings,
o Host Mode as a secure background BBS,
o and the CompuServe B+ transfer protocol.

"Ease-of-use" best describes the philosophy behind RhinoCom's
AutoScripting. With its helpful step-by-step dialog box interface,
AutoScripting makes it trivial to match data coming in with the responses
that you want returned. Username and Password responses are available at
the click of a button while the response entry field allows you to
customize complex situations.

RhinoCom's Host Mode provides secure BBS functionality, allowing users to
set up their OS/2 system to handle BBS calls in the background and
continue to use that machine for other projects. Ten independently
modifiable access levels allow complete control over system security.
Create an open (guests allowed) or closed system and allow any number of
users (if authorized) to post messages, send mail, upload, download,
change drive or directory, open an OS/2 Command Window, and execute named
macros on the host machine. Sysop-only functions include modifying user
privileges while they are on-line, mail and message system maintenance,
and local login. Run multiple copies of RhinoCom for unlimited multi-line
support and hook up a Digiboard for 16, 64, or more incoming lines!

Along with Text/Binary, XMODEM, YMODEM, ZMODEM, and Kermit, RhinoCom 1.5
contains CompuServe B+. CompuServe B+ is a transfer protocol optimized for
the CompuServe Online service. Current terminal emulations are: ANSI,
VT52, VT100, VT320, and Data General's DG217, DG411, and DG413 terminals.

RhinoCom is available direct from Rhintek or through OS/2 sources such as
OS+ Resource, OS/2 Express, and Indelible Blue. List Price is $199 with
quantity and license-only discounts available. Visit our new WEB site
