EMBEDDED COMPUTING SHOW

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA., October 20, 1995-Competition in trade shows heats
up as the RTC Group adapts their regional show format to the Embedded
Computing market place with the Embedded Computing Show. This style of
show has offered exhibitors a new twist to their marketing dollars. Unlike
traditional shows, this show format was designed to generate sales.

After exhaustive research and development of the regional format, The RTC
Group was able to launch the Embedded Computing Show with confidence in
its success. "In the first year of production we have already out stripped
other methods of promotion by creating qualified leads for under $3.00
each," notes Steve Grimaldi, ECS Manager.

The format of this show has thrown traditional practices out the window.
For example:

Exhibitors at the show will enjoy:

 * Low cost, high quality leads
   NOT * High cost beauty contests

 * Easy support and coordination
   NOT * High cost labor and contracts

 * A focus on fast and effective results
   VERSUS * Abstracts on the future

 * Coupling sales people with sales leads
   VERSUS * Marketing leads with marketing people

Guests at the show will find:

 * Direct vendor contact
   NOT * Intimidating walls of suits

 * Free sit-down lunch
   NOT * Expensive convention hall food

 * No hassle, free admission
   VERSUS * Standing in line telling your life story

 * Face to face meeting with a salesperson VERSUS
   VERSUS * Information sent from the factory

As more and more companies adopt this format to compliment their sales
structure, the dollar per lead ratio will fall below $1.50 each.
(Currently at $1.32 for the ECS's sister show, the RTC Show). Vendors are
refreshed to see their dollars working for their own benefit, and not
promoting a competing or future technology via conference series.
Companies motivated by profit are choosing the logical answer, the
Embedded Computing Show.

The call to arms has been heard and the vendors have rallied to support the
show with 40% of the 1996 calendar sold out. The sales dollars.

EMBEDDED COMPUTING SHOW

Targeted at providing a forum for the growing number of hardware and
software products based on conventional Intel architectures used in
embedded applications.

WHAT IS THE SHOW ABOUT?

The arrival of Motorola's PowerPC, DEC's Alpha, Microsoft's Windows NT and
many other technologies has caused what was once termed "Industrial PC's"
to have a new utility for embedded applications. These applications
include industrial automation, vehicular control/maintenance, intelligent
vending machines, medical instrumentation, and many more. Because of small
and flexible form factors, easy development path, relatively low cost as
well as familiar O/S and programming environments, these products are
addressing an ever increasing number of embedded applications.

WHO SHOULD EXHIBIT?

Vendors offering embedded computer solutions that run the gamut from small
and medium to conventionally sized PC form-factors, with performance
ranges from that of standalone SBCs to passive-backplane PCI and even to
multiprocessing configuring.

WHO WILL ATTEND?

Engineers looking for systems and subsystem components; from single and
multiple CPUs to simple and advanced I/O; for everything from user
interfaces to full system control, will find solutions at The Embedded
Computing Show.

WHAT MAKES THESE SHOWS SPECIAL?

* TABLE-TOP FORMAT - Provides an equal display format among all exhibitors.

* CONVENIENCE - The shows bring local vendors and customers into one arena.

* VALUE - The primary value is a low-cost sales tool proven to increase
sales. Provides customers with a hassle free, friendly environment-local
venue, free parking, lunch and registration.

* EXPERIENCE - They are produced by The RTC Group which has over 8 years of
experience producing successful, table-top shows.

* EXHIBITOR-PROMOTED - Exhibitor promotion ensures the success of the show.
The RTC Group provides promotional invitations to all exhibitors for
distribution to customers.

The Embedded Computing Show is committed to advancing the sales process for
reduced cost of sales. For further information contact Steve Grimaldi
