STANFORD RESOURCES RELEASES ANNUAL MARKET ANALYSIS AND FORECAST ON THE
LARGE SCREEN INFORMATION DISPLAY MARKET

SAN JOSE, Calif., OCTOBER 9, 1995-Stanford Resources Inc., the leading
market research firm specializing in the global electronic display
industry, has released its annual study on the large screen display
market-Large Screen Information Displays. Now in its third edition, this
vital industry perspective provides a market analysis and forecast through
the year 2002 for the global large screen display industry.

Large screen information displays are defined as dynamic electronic
displays that can be viewed by more than one person and are at least two
feet wide. Common applications include video displays as large as 50 feet
in diameter that are used in sports arenas to accommodate 10,000 or more
viewers, displays for military command stations and transportation and
traffic control centers, and displays used in presentations and
high-visibility advertising.

Dr. Joseph Castellano, president of Stanford Resources, explained that the
report is critical to the planning and development of product and
marketing strategies by all technically oriented display companies. "Many
new companies with developing display technology choose to target the
large screen display market, often with only a cursory awareness of the
market size and industry structure. Given this significant information
challenge, marketing and engineering executives must pursue a better
understanding of the industry-this report is designed to help them
accomplish this important task," explained Castellano.

According to David Mentley, director of display industry research for
Stanford Resources and project manager for the report, the development of
display technologies aimed at large screen use accelerated greatly during
the last five years. "There are a large number of customers and potential
customers for this technology," Mentley explained. "When one considers
that every airport, train station, bus, conference room, restaurant and
retail store is a potential site for a large screen display, the number of
potential installations can number in the millions worldwide."

This year's report features tabulated data on unit shipments, value of
shipments and average selling prices for some 25 application categories
and 12 display technologies. The report is divided into four sections:

* Display Technologies offers display-related definitions and descriptions
for the major large screen display technologies.

* Application Analysis-discusses the major applications for large screen
displays including transportation, sports/entertainment,
business/industrial, public information, and military/aerospace.

* Market Analysis Forecast provides a worldwide and regional analysis and
forecast of the large screen display market by technology. Regions are
divided by North America, Europe, Japan and rest-of-world.

* Supplier Profiles-summarizes information on more than 100 suppliers of
large screen displays, including company background, product lines,
distribution strategies and future direction.

Working with Mentley, a team of leading market researchers and analysts
helped compile and present data for Large Screen Information Displays.
Mentley explained the team's research method, emphasizing that the value
of any research report rests heavily on the method and organization of the
data. "On all of our reports, we use the multi-perspective approach, which
analyzes both the supply and demand sides of the electronic display
market. This not only provides comprehensive information, but also detects
and eliminates sources of error and bias that can sometimes occur with
other research techniques," he said.

Large Screen Information Displays is one in a series of annual reports
compiled and produced by Stanford Resources. Monitor Market Trends was
recently released in August 1995, and two upcoming annual reports, Liquid
Crystal Displays and Flat Information Displays, are scheduled for
distribution through the end of 1995. The company also produces quarterly
updates on various segments of the display industry, as well as customized
reports for specific information needs. To order a copy of Large Screen
