UNIFACE TO SUPPORT MICROSOFT WINDOWS 95

Native 32-bit Support for Windows 95 Lets UNIFACE Users Take Full Advantage
of Microsoft's Newest Operating System

AUGUST 24, 1995 -- FARMINGTON HILLS, Michigan - Application development
professionals will soon be able to use the UNIFACE development environment
to build powerful applications that fully utilize the features of
Microsoft Windows 95. In line with the Microsoft Windows 95 announcement
today, Compuware's announcement shows the Company's commitment to
supporting customers with the most recent technologies available today.

Compuware's announcement marks one of the first for the application
development tool industry in supporting Windows 95.

manager for UNIFACE at Compuware.

Validating Compuware's deployment strategy, the announcement allows
Compuware customers to migrate existing applications from UNIFACE for
Windowsr3.x to UNIFACE for Windows 95 without having to change a single
line of code. UNIFACE for Windows 95 will take full advantage of the
32-bit preemptive multi-tasking features of Windows 95, it provides
support for OLE-2.0 and will adopt the look-and-feel of the new Windows 95
User Interface.

A preview version of UNIFACE for Windows 95 will be available within 90
days.
