ZD Net Personal View Provides Customizable Snapshot of Computing News from
Leading Information Sources

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., October 10, 1995 -- Ziff-Davis Interactive (ZDI) today
unveiled ZD Net Personal View, the first free service available on the
World Wide Web that lets users receive personalized daily news that tracks
the lates high-tech developments from leading news sources, based on the
user's specific computing interests. ZD Net Personal View is now available
for users who register on ZDI's ZD Net/World Wide Web Edition
(http://www.zdnet.com), the company's advertiser-supported Web site.

ZD Net Personal View users will receive daily news feeds from PC Week,
MacWEEK Inter@ctive Week and other Ziff-Davis publications, as well as
from leading computer industry news distributors Newsbytes News Network,
Business Wire and PR Newswire. ZDI plans to add other leading news sources
in the near future. To receive ZD Net Personal View, users need to fill
out a brief registration form available on the ZD Net Web site, indicating
the types of computing news that interest them most in a wide range of
