1. What the program does, and how to use it.

EVIDENCES is a quiz game  and editor software,  for school or individual
use, on PC's with MS-DOS (version 3.3 or higher recommended).

The program is divided in three main parts : 1) the game part, where the 
computer  asks questions,  wait for answers and tells to the  user  (the 
pupil) if he is right or not;  2) the edition part,  where the user (the 
teacher) can edit its own questionnaires; 3) the attribution part, where 
the user (the teacher) can assign to each pupil a "program" of question-
naires  that  he will follow in one or more sessions while  his  results 
will be recorded by the program.

EVIDENCES version 2.xx is a freeware.

3. The program's distribution status.

EVIDENCES version 2.xx  is   freely  distributable,  by any mean (direct
copy,  Internet  or BBS,   CD-ROM  or  floppy collection), save that the
original package is included. It may *not* be sold. 

The program and any  support  from the  author, are provided "as is" and
without warranty, express and implied,  including but not limited to any
implied warranties  of merchantability and fitness for a particular pur-
pose.   In no event will the author be liable for any damages, including
lost profits, lost savings, or other  incidental or  consequential dama-
ges, even if  the author is advised  of the possibility of such damages,
or for any claim by you or any third party.
