Added some more minor changes to playwest. Added following to tlcf.msg:

   This change is the result of a lot of ramdisk ideas I have had.
   In your bbscfg:

       playwest "west tl" d:\west

   Will now look for west.exe and tlcf.mcv/idx in d:\west\west.exe.
   And use c:\falken\west for all other configuration files. It will use
   west_cfg_path {} ONLY for west.cfg information.

Added allow_tlcf{1} to allow those without tlcf flag into tlcf,
but they can't do much but watch others talk. Use allow_tlcf{0} to turn off.
In watch mode user can .list, .help, .exit, .info and one text of talk.

    Some changes to allow comments in the tlcf.msg file.

    change and may not even matter since the tasks are in
    suspend() mode, but it may save a couple time slices. New playwest
    V2.00.

RIP-
    Since Falken now seems (V6.65b) to handle RIP ok, I took
    out binary rip for now.

Delete old chalk.dat! This one now uses a rotated chalkboard
with 20 entries max...

chalk_enter changed %ld to %u in tlcf.msg.

Action games .scav and .ps (and all new ones) now must be in your
subdirectory if you use one.  This will allow scavenger hunt
to be customized a bit and each tlcf could have it's own type of game.

scavhunt.hlp & scavhunt.top both need to be in subdirectory (if used).

Ugh! Herb added ".list" as a global command, so now users should type
.list channel in Western. I made change to RIP screen.

In order for Western to not go down 8 lines when someone enters or leaves,
Falken 6.65 has a bug for RIP... I made a temporary fix for RIP in Western
for those running Falken 6.65 - let's hope Herb fixes Falken. Entering
and leaving now is a little faster (binary mode). Maybe Herb could
add a "turn off word wrap" option for us programmers...

and .kiss still don't go thru the net...

Action commands thru the net will now work. The same command does NOT
have to be on both ends to work!  .hurl BillBell - will
look on the local system, if no BillBell, then it will send
the action thru the net.  If no response then BillBell is not on
any systems.  The action commands uses the "send to everyone" line
in west.cfg when sending actions to target user on other system.

The logon door voting booth on my system corrupts western tlcf.
Recommend taking voting booth offline if you experience weird things
with western.

Now specifically supports RIP. No special screen design yet tho.

New scav hunt game.  This is how it works:

If you pick up some else's stuff it is ok. But when you leave scav hunt
the stuff gets dropped in the room you quit from. Your stuff gets put
back on the list for new players to select.  Remember that you only
get points when you drop the item in room 0. Add if someone else
has your item you will not be able to find it.

New version of playwest.exe V1.40, Herb recommended and he is
also fixing some calls in FALKEN.  I also threw in some massive
checks! You must use new west V1.33c with playwest V1.40.

Also, new chat loader and network loader. These ones

If you use { } it will use the path with west.cfg as usual

The nice addition to TLCF for ANSI displays was not nice for non-ansi.
Fixed the non-ansi displays.

Added a douta.pth file which is used if present for the path for
dialout links.  New dialout.  ("west" in file would work, no ending \).

Trying task of 3 for western, should speed up the BBS a bit.

The 2 min warning was not working right for non-credit users.
The cannot find file for 3rd party door help files had a minor
bug in it. This has been fixed.

In linking, a leave message is sent like a enter message

Check better for credits (should prevent negative credits
in TLCF).  Added mc_2min_warn to tlcf.msg. Rerun westidx.

The main messages should now use 80 chars in TLCF! ANSI
was causing it to not be right... Due to FALKEN mishandling.

In tlcf.msg change mc_erase_yours { .. %d... } to { %ld }.

New .attach/.attachw commands <line #> <channel #> <BBS NAME>.
(you can now set the channel easier, before you would have to
be in the channel before the command, now you don't.

    The tlcf2 directory is now used for west.exe also.

west.cfg also is now located in the PATH instead of under mainbbs.exe.
The help files are now located in PATH instead of mainbbs.exe.

Added western development changes. A western door can send a "I am

Released shareware version, after 4 minutes removes everyone from game.

Replaced some FOSSIL calls. I wait until fossil is empty before
sending more info to it.  Should help with links. Fixed QEMM
error when losing link. FALKEN was looking for next thing to

door.  A stripped down version of this door is released to
everyone in west_dev.zip.

If they like and sysops can use that instead of typing ".attachw".
Of course old Western TLCF should NOT use the WLINK or WALINK
since information specific to Western will be sent through
the lines (netwho, etc).

The TLCF time .status is now updated every minute so you know
how long they have been in TLCF since joined BBS.  This I forgot
about.

Made some minor changes to strcpy() calls. Changed to strncpy,
make sure NULL terminated.  Also, checked "text" var for
corruption, found objword[20] changed to [32].

The .erase command has better messages now.

New .help sysop command displays wests.hlp

New .moderate command allows someone to moderate the channel
when the moderate leave. By default the next user to enter the TLCF
becomes the new moderator. Just thought that .moderate would be
better.

Tried to make playwest.exe V1.30 aborts correctly when not enough memory.
Informed Herb of bug. Then fixed it with get_load_status(). ALso
fixed loading chat program. Fixed dialout.exe also. Playwest.exe
modified to not send message through line when using dialout to link
western tlcf.

Have noticed that after links the .info and .list sometimes
will get corrupted. This is due to a pointer malfunction.
I found a problem with scavenger hunt to alleviate this. Keep
an eye on these commands.

Delphi conference uses .name as handle. Made changes for links with DELPHI.
It sends everything to users in channel from link if not West TLCF command
like .netwho... /noecho and /norepeat before link in DELPHI works great.
The attach non-western with DELPHI now fixed, '.name' changed to
'*name'...  I am unsure whether links to DELPHI are allowed.

Coming back from chat will now announce it to other users in the channel.
Non-sysops will not get the loading messages...

Fixed .subj to not clear the moderator.

Added .invite for private channels. (Users can .page so .knock not needed).

The WEST main program now time slices LEVEL 3. Used to be LEVEL 2.
This will let the other parts of the BBS run faster when someone is
in western tlcf.

Where NAME should be as short as possible. This weill help on
bad lines.  It must not have any
carriage returns, escapes, ansi, or ':' chars. My 6 char name
"TMWBBS" works fine. But you MUST replace it or LINKING will
not work correctly. It must be unique. Keep it under 32 chars in length.

Set "playwest **NETWORK" off main menu for those sysops
who want to link fast with your BBS, this set's their BBS as
a western LINK.

The .attachw allows Private and NETWHO messages to be sent from your
BBS to the linked BBS.  The default linking through dialout and
with **NETWORK is like you typed .attachw locally.  To link with older FALKEN
BBS use dialout 'w', then once in Western TLCF type .attach.

New version of .sayto and .netwho for LINKS.

When linking if you have had network access you could make yourself
sysop with the .attach command.  Removed that priviledge.
Also added a new attach command for "Western TLCF" BBS's:

New dialout for western tlcf ~~~ then 'w'. The .attach <line #> BBSNAME
will do what is necessary (load playwest and set name of bbs).
I have tested this with old FALKEN tlcf and it works. Although I
have noticed possible to make the link better. I also
have added some hooks for Private net messages, although not tested
until I get 2 computers up and running.

To hook with old Falken TLCF:
      1. Use new dialout
      2. Dial system to connect with
      3. Select 'net' off main menu (@network)
      4. Press '~~~' then 'w' to link.
      5. If no one was in Western TLCF this will set up western
         TLCF correctly. Although you may want to use .attach to
         change the NET# to the bbs name.
         Otherwise, if someone is was in western tlcf, then just
         .attach number BBSNAME
           This will basically, strip off the double From::.

Any bugs please report them.

Major upgrade. Had to do some MAJOR design changes to allow
REAL life chatting inside tlcf! I have combined various
areas of my CHAT program and put them into Western TLCF.
In this initial release I am not charging any more for this
chat ! Each chat session eats about 64K of memory. This is less
than older CHAT program where each user ate 64K.  !!
This chat also will sue a chat.cfg file if present (like
old chat door).

CONFIGURATION FILE

It is optional, but you can have a chat.cfg file which contains:

   LINE 1: ANSI line outputted when user hits ESCAPE.
   LINE 2: For Non-ansi displays when user hits ESCAPE.


You need to put wst_chat.exe into your mainbbs.exe directory.

The "adlt tlcf" .list is now randomn ordered. The .list command
is a lot slower and I will speed it up soon. But now it is
randomn.

PS #13 - Principal only comes when someone playing game... Makes game
         easier since when game starts principal is not there.

Make badword.txt work with a path so that separate tlcfs can have
separate badwords lists. Test with .profanity command.

Fixed .say command to work, had it ordered wrong.

A special "adlt tlcf" teleconference. If you use this
from playwest.exe, if will generate a handle called "Adult_0" through
"Adult_<lines + 1>", these are randomnly generated. Some adult boards
want anonymous tlcfs.

Alerted Counselor (Mark Manes) or a Warlords problem. He is working
on fixing warlords. I recommend disabling warlords until Counselor
updates his product. You may encounter lockups when someone in
western tlcf and someone in warlords. I have noticed this when
using the Public School #13 product western tlcf.

Changed westidx some people run it and get file size 0 for
tlcf.idx and tlcf.mcv. This should fix that problem.
Also for security reasons must now use the DOS attrib command
to change tlcf.idx and tlcf.mcv files. Westidx errors
becuase the files are marked READ-ONLY.

You can now have multiple TLCFs by using western TLCF. Some people
like using an adult area and a regular area. However, the license
has changed. You are authorized to run one copy of Western tlcf for
$40.00. Each additional copy of western TLCF that is separated
is $20.00 more. To offset this cost, my Public School #13 game
does not have this restriction. If you buy Western TLCF and
Public School #13 you pay $40 for the first copy of western tlcf,
and you pay $25.00 for PS#13. Then if you want to
run an adult area you just pay $20.00 for multiple license on western
tlcf and you CAN run PS#13 there at no additional charge.
For example, you want 3 teleconferences:

         $40.00 for Western TLCF
         $20.00 for 2nd tlcf
         $20.00 for 3rd tlcf
         $25.00 for PS#13
         ------
        $105.00 total, you run PS13 on all 3.

Future games will probably be released as a multi-tlcf license.
Remember that Netpoker you pay per BBS line. Here each tlcf has unlimited
lines (actually FALKEN limit of 33). Contact me if you are
interested in more than one Western TLCF. I will explain
how this feature is done.
