WESTCON AND TRITON TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCE COSESSION OSI

CoSession OSI is a special package of remote control software designed
particularly for use with Eicon Technology's LAN OSI Gateway

Eastchester, NY. June 17, 1993. Westcon, Inc. and Triton Technologies
jointly announce "CoSession OSI", a specially packaged version of Triton's
CoSession X.25 software. CoSession OSI includes the ideal combination of
remote, host and PAD (Packet Assembler Disassembler) support to compliment
the Eicon Technology LAN OSI Gateway.

As a distributor of LAN communication solutions, Westcon supplies VARs,
dealers, and system integrators with Eicon Technology LAN OSI Gateways.
The LAN OSI Gateway provides X.25 communications capability to NetWare,
LAN Server, LAN Manager, and UNIX-based networks.

Triton's CoSession is a remote communications package that allows users to
remotely operate PC's under DOS or Windows. CoSession is used to provide
remote user support, or remote access into LANs. Remote users can access
the keyboard and view the screen of the Host PC.

The Eicon LAN OSI Gateway connects PC LANs to public or private X.25 data
communication services. Remote Access through X.25 services is less
expensive than direct dial. In addition, X.25 offers additional security
and a lower management costs.

"We've investigated X.25 remote control applications. We feel that
CoSession is the best. This packaging offers the reseller the benefit of
Westcon's experience with X.25 and CoSession," according to Nancy
Ruttenberg, Manager of Product Marketing at Westcon.

Priced at $1495.00 CoSession OSI includes 8 LAN Host Licenses and 16 Remote
User licenses along with the necessary X.25 PAD interface software. One
package will allow up to 16 potential users to share 8 virtual
connections. The typical LAN OSI Gateway buyer would need one or two
CoSession OSI packages to meet their remote control needs.

"The X.25 market requires the special capabilities of a company like
Westcon. VARs and resellers will be able to buy a complete solution from
Westcon, with full assurance of compatibility.", says Tom Dolan, Vice
President of Marketing and Sales at Westcon.

"Remote control is an excellent application to add to our LAN Gateway,"
according to Chris Metaxas, Regional Director for Eicon Technology. "X.25
offers lower costs and improved security. People who use remote control
really appreciate these benefits."

Westcon developed the Triton relationship to reduce the complexity of the
X.25 sale. Westcon's goal is to train VARs and resellers in the advantages
of packet switched communications. "For the end customer, the costs are
lower. For the reseller, the margin is higher because there is more
opportunity to add value," continues Dolan.

X.25 based remote control solutions are less expensive to the user because
the hourly connection rate is lower. Corporate departments also appreciate
the centralized billing and elimination of surcharges from hotels or
convention centers.

In addition, value added networks such as Sprint Communications' SprintNet
offer additional internal security and management. "At Sprint we manage
the X.25 Link, including the modems. We relieve the corporate user from
the need to worry about modem technology, equipment upgrades, and
middle-of-the-night modem pool problems. ", says Harvey Baumel, Director
of Applications Development at Sprint Communications.

"Triton Technologies is very excited to develop the X.25 market with
Westcon. Their (Westcon's) special expertise with data communications and
public data networks will really help our customers take full advantage of
CoSession's advanced features." says Peter Byer, Director of Sales, Triton
Technologies.

CoSession OSI is in stock now. Resellers who purchase CoSession during July
1993 will receive their choice of a free Eicon Technology LAN OSI Gateway
