upgradeable checking account support for its popular Professional laser
check-printing software. Now unbundled, Create-A-Check's new Professional
product offering supports from 10 to 50 active checking accounts for small
to medium-sized businesses.

Through this new product line-up, Create-A-Check continues to give
customers "a total laser check-printing solution. " The company
accomplishes this by providing magnetic toner and security check stock, in
addition to software. All three elements integrate to create high quality,
secure magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) documents.
Create-A-Check, however, has repackaged these essential laser
check-printing elements to give distributors and dealers more flexibility
in meeting customer demands.

"Create-A-Check is passing along a greater sales opportunity to its channel
by unbundling its product offering to allow the separate purchase of the
magnetic toner for a variety of laser printers and security check stock,"
said Michael Thomas, director of sales. "The debundling allows dealers to
meet customer needs without stocking multiple SKU's to cover all
combinations of printers and checking account limits."

The baseline Professional product supports 10 active checking accounts.
Create-A-Check gives its customers the option to add up to 40 more
checking accounts through three product upgrades. This enables customers
to select additional checking account support depending on their business
needs.

Create-A-Check Professional automates and controls the printing of checks
including forms layout, digitized logos and signatures, check information,
and MICR encoding on blank security check stock using an IBM-compatible
personal computer and a desktop laser printer.

The Professional line also provides the most complete solution available
today by giving users unlimited interface support for some of the most
widely used accounting programs. These include: ACCPAC-Plus and -Simply
Accounting, Armor, Business Works, Cyma L and S, Dac Easy, Great Plains,
Macola, Managing Your Money, Mas 90 (Series 2), One Write Plus, Open
Systems, Peachtree, Platinum, Quickbooks, Quicken, QuickPay, RealWorld,
and SBT Professional and Series 7.

Create-A-Check Professional supports 10 active checking accounts, comes
with 100 sheets of 8 1/2" X 11" security check stock, and has a suggested
list price of $395. The three upgrades include: from 10 to 25 accounts,
$150; from 25 to 50 accounts, $250; and from 10 to 50 accounts, $400.
Create-A-Check gives dealers the option of stocking or ordering upgrade
