BENDATA ANNOUNCES HEAT FOR WINDOWS, MICROSOFT WINDOWS VERSION OF HEAT; Help
Desk Expert Automation Tool

June 1, 1994, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bendata, the leading provider of
Help Desk software solutions, has announced plans to release a Windows
version of its Help Desk automation software HEAT; the Help Desk Expert
Automation Tool. In response to user demand for HEAT technology in a
Microsoft Windows environment, an aggressive Windows based client server
product development effort is nearing completion. HEAT for Windows is
scheduled to release in the 3rd Quarter, 1994, and will be available for
preview at the upcoming PC Expo New York, Booth #4659.

HEAT for Windows is modeled after the highly successful DOS HEAT product.
HEAT for Windows will capitalize on the inherent advantages that the
Windows environment provides: enhancements in speed, performance, memory
handling and graphics capabilities. It has been designed to allow for
rapid development of new technologies as they emerge for the Windows
environment.

HEAT for Windows will also offer an advanced interface design. Bendata has
enlisted the expert services of a human factors firm that specializes in
the "human" elements of software design. Through analysis of the end
user's critical path needs and task flow mapping specific to the user's
environment, Bendata expects that screen design and information layout
will complement and streamline the needs of the Help Desk professional.

HEAT for Windows provides Internal Help Desks, Call Centers, and Customer
Support Centers with the tools and technologies to manage their demanding

shipped with a variety of pre-designed screen templates and data elements
that can be used to begin logging calls right away.
