CHEYENNE TO OFFER FUNK SOFTWARE'S PROXY FREE WITH MONITRIX

Proxy, Funk Software's Network Remote Control Software, Complements Network
Management Capabilities of Monitrix

NEW YORK, NY, June 28, 1994--Funk Software, Inc. and Cheyenne Software,
Inc. (AMEX:CYE) jointly announced today that Cheyenne will offer a free
copy of Proxy, Funk Software's network remote control software, with their
Monitrix for NetWare network management software. The promotion is slated
to run through September 15, 1994.

Monitrix is an intuitive inventory, monitoring, and documenting solution
for network management. Running on
NetWare 3.11, 3.12, and 4.x, Monitrix takes advantage of the MS Windows
interface and provides the centralized tools which enable effective
LAN/WAN management.

Now, with the inclusion of Proxy with Monitrix for NetWare, the network
administrator can not only instantly identify problems, but can remotely
view and operate the machine to resolve the problem. This means that the
network administrator no longer needs to travel to the problem file server
or workstation--which may be located across the building or on a different
floor--to diagnose and fix the problem.

"We think Monitrix and Proxy are a perfect match," said Paul Funk,
president of Funk Software. "As support of LANs becomes more and more
complex, a network manager's time is at a premium. The combination of
Proxy and Monitrix lets network managers instantly identify problem
workstations on the network--and the ability to remotely view and operate
these machines is a real time saver."

"We're excited about offering remote control functionality with our new
Windows-based network management software product," said Cheyenne product
manager Scott Gordon. "The Proxy/Monitrix combination provides our
customers with a value-added, cost effective solution for achieving a high
level of network integrity, while helping them facilitate their job
functions."

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Proxy is a remote control program that lets a user take over and control
any PC on a Novell network, right from Windows. This makes it an ideal
tool for network support professionals and help desk representatives. With
Proxy, a user can view and operate one or more PCs on the network at the
same time, putting each in its own window on the desktop. And, the
controlled machines can be running either DOS or Windows.

The latest advancement in the Network Management segment of Cheyenne's
EnterpriseWare product family, Monitrix streamlines hardware and software
auditing and provides system analyses designed to help facilitate network
administration and support responsibilities. This new version of Monitrix,
which will replace the popular 2.x version, takes advantage of the Windows
environment and supports Novell NetWare 3.x and 4.x servers as well as
DOS, Windows, OS/2 and Macintosh workstations (including standalone
systems).

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

Monitrix for NetWare, priced at US suggested retail $495, is currently
available. Customers who purchase a copy of Monitrix and return their
Proxy Promotion Card prior to September 15, 1994 will receive a free 1

copy of Proxy per copy of Monitrix purchased. Fulfillment for the
