MEDIA VISION TO PUBLISH A SCIENCE FICTION ADVENTURE CD-ROM CALLED "THE
DAEDALUS ENCOUNTER"

CHICAGO, IL -- JUNE 23, 1994 -- (Consumer Electronics Show Booth # 7518)
-Media Vision (MVISE:NASDAQ) announced today a new interactive game,
entitled The Daedalus Encounter, starring actress Tia Carrere. The
Daedalus Encounter is a futuristic, science fiction, action-adventure
CD-ROM title.

Tia Carrere's success in action-adventure movies and her forthcoming role
in True Lies, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, make her the perfect choice
for this new adventure CD-ROM developed by Mechadeus. Among her other
credits are Wayne's World and Rising Sun. "I want to understand where
entertainment is going," Carrere explained. "The future is interactive!"

"We feel using star talent will enrich the game and its consumer appeal,"
said Allan Thygesen, vice president of Media Vision publishing. "Tia and
her co-star get the player involved in a compelling, movie-like
experience."

The Daedalus Encounter stars Carrere as the heroine, Ari; actor Christian
Bocher co-stars as Zack. The object of the game is to save the heroes on
an alien spaceship. The player uses a mobile "probe" with extra-sensory
capabilities to work with Ari and Zack to explore the alien ship and take
control. Along the way, multiple challenges arise including a variety of
aliens rendered by sophisticated computer graphics.

Carrere and Bocher were filmed using a technique called "blue screen." This
footage was digitally edited and seamlessly integrated with computer
generated backgrounds and animated characters.

"With The Daedalus Encounter we are combining feature film production
values, name-talent, advanced computer technology, an interesting
storyline, and interactivity," explained John Evershed, co-founder and
executive producer of Mechadeus. "Our goal is to offer a challenging
gaming experience for the advanced members of the audience while still
providing an approachable entertainment experience for the mainstream
market."

The Daedalus Encounter evolves through multiple plot twists and endings
triggered by different moves the player might make. Not only is the
outcome dependent on individual moves, but it is also impacted by the
attitude of the player along the way. For example, if the player chooses
to be conciliatory and peacemaking one sort of gameplay will result, while
a different type of gameplay will result if the player is aggressive and
hostile. Experienced gamers will enjoy hours of action game play and
strategic puzzles.

Available this Fall

The Daedalus Encounter is expected to be available in fall 1994 as a two
CD-ROM set for the MPC (Multimedia Personal Computer) Level 2 platform and
Macintosh systems. Suggested retail price is $79.95.
